Just because a player visits does not mean they have an offer. He could have been offered by CDT, but Scott is not going to say he was not offered and CDT is not allowed to talk about recruits until they are signed.

I said this a while back caught crap for it . I think recruits are gonna have to see what a Tennessee team coached by Donnie Knoxville looks like first

Coaches care if he is selfish. CDT is here to build a program. One selfish player can infect a whole team.

If he is a player of great need and you call yourself a coach then coach him to share the ball. He played for gambling state, dude.

Why do we assume Scott turned us down? CDT could have met him face to face and decided he was not a good fit for us.

Even if this is the case are we really in a situation to be turning down someone with experience at pg right now? If he had some type of history then I could see it but if not it is a little unsettling.

I am just asking why we assume he turned us down. Looking at his statistics, he is a scorer. But he is also a turnover machine. 92 assists and 91 turnovers (3.6 per game) DT and AB had much better assist to turnover ratio last year and everyone dogged them. He also played against inferior competition. After meeting him, CDT may have thought Scott was not worth the risk.

Scott may have also thought that he would ride the pine with the talent in front of him at UT.

We may not ever know, oh well time to move on with who we do have. Maybe CDT didn't push for him to hard cause he thinks Punter or Mostella can play point along with Chiles, I can hope for the best.

Agreed, I do not want to take minutes away from Mostella. He has potential to be special. I know everyone is concerned about pg, but I think we need a big man more than a pg. I only think you take another guard if they are a major upgrade over who we already have and a distributor. We have shooters. Scott was too similar to Chiles IMO. Good night

He is not a great need.....He is a combo guard from a 5 win program. Antwan is a fifth yr senior that wants to go some where that he walks into a starting position. At Tennessee, he will have to beat out Chiles, Punter, and even Mostella. Im all for bringing in a true top of the line Div 1 PG but there are definite questions whether scott would be that guy.
