Jerry Jones has to worry about keeping his millionaires happy. I don't, so I don't have to be so sensitive.

I'm more concerned about my son, and others just like him, who are willing to put their lives at risk so that we have the freedom to relax in our homes debating such unimportant topics. And I'm also concerned for those who serve in law enforcement who also put their lives at risk daily.

You don't have to agree, but that freedom that you enjoy was purchased by the blood of men who fought under that flag.

Players can’t dance in the end zone or wear cleats celebrating a holiday but protesting on the field is okay?

No.

Either you give the complete freedom of speech and expression or you tell them to shut up and play the game. I can’t go to work, take a knee or I’d lose my job. Why do these guys get to do it?

The fact is they don’t have that right. They have the right to not be arrested for it but they do not have the right to not have their jobs (yes this is their job) be affected for it.

Want to wear nonreg clothes? Fine them. Want to protest the flag and disrupt the game? Fine them.

Oh well. The more the NFL keeps going down the drain, the closer to goodell leaving, right? Oh wait, he’s about to sign like a 10 year extension lol. I guess they like seeing there viewer chart going down, enough to give the man an extension. Dave Hart isn’t running the show is he??

How about looking at both situations as being ridiculous reasons to be fined or kicked out of the league? Wearing pig socks or Christmas socks is the least of anyone's problems...

You either didn't read my question thoroughly or you're looking for something to be upset about. I'm guessing it's the latter, though neither would surprise me.

I will say, however, there's a difference between having your own style and degrading a certain group of people. Professionalism is expected in every career field, and with as much as I've seen you cry about Trump in the politics forum I'm sure you'll have no trouble applying that logic to this situation.

Find me anything I've said in any forum that comes close to the same level of "crying" as complaining about the lack of punishment for a guy wearing pig socks to practice. I'll wait.

Some of you might want to look up the definition of the word uniform. The NFL has a strict zero tolerance policy. The players know this and some are willing to pay the fine. It's not the NFL's fault, snowflakes.
