Kiffin should bring the orange jerseys. He should tell the team if they are up at the half they can wear the jerseys for the second half. Break out the orange pants as well.

This grates on me too, somewhat, but it's apparently almost impossible to make the fabric in a jersey and the glossy tape of the helmet stripe and logo look like the exact same shade of orange under all sorts of lighting conditions. I try not to worry about it.

Ok, I need some info fast. I am in a heated arguement with several Bama fans. I need to know when the last time UT played ALA with the home-home jerseys.

I dunno.....honestly, I would love to see orange and crimson...but I sure don't want to see us give Alabama 15 yds. in the first and second half. If Bama didn't whine about it...we could bypass this discussion altogether! Oh well....

Why would it matter if we wear orange at Bama or not I would much rather us wear black at home than wear orange at Bama.

I know bammer denied us. And I know Kiffin said we're not good enough to give up 15 yards per half. But anybody think Kiffin will do it anyway. :rock: Would be sweet, don't ya think? :rock:

Don't get me wrong, I think it would be great. Still if you were coach would you want to hurt your team with the penalty when you're on the road against possibly the #1 team in the nation? A very hard decision, Coach has had a lot of those this year.

something else, please somebody in the athletic department get rid of the black outline of the numbers on our away jerseys and bring back the BIG numbers.

If it was a 5k fine or something, I could see him doing it.

The 2 - 15 yrd penalities puts his team at a disadvantage on the field for it. Can't see him doing that in this game.

I wish Kiffin would wear the orange jerseys just to piss Bama off. But he is going to make the decision that puts us in the best position to win. White it is. Besides, how bad would He look if we end up losing in a close game where the 15 yd kickoff penalties played a role?

I agree. The jerseys are not worth giving up that kind of field position.

Do it!! Two 15 yd penalties wont change the outcome - its the #1 team in the country - its Alabama. How big would the pub be? Don't put it past Kiff Co. not telling the players...warm up in white...when the player come back to the locker room the ORANGE jersey are laying out...HUGE...the team would be so jacked up - lets make a statement and not worry about 2 15's.
