A Question:

Oregon will be much better by those games than they will in week 2. Ive already explained this over and over. Talk about dumb logically. Cal sucks. If you want to talk about last yr. Oregon crushed them 42-3. Oregon crushed usc as well. They beat oregon state the last 2 yrs.

And now Oregon leaves the cozy confines of Autzen.

You are overlooking the fact that history and trends have no bearing on what will happen in that game.

as said by every oregon fan who said oregon woudl finish in the top 10 and compete for a pac-10 title in 04, 06, and 08. oregon sucks on the road. that is a fact. they sucked on the road last year too. remember stanford and boise state. edit: it's no coincidence that cal challenged for a pac-10 title in 04 and 06 and sucked in 05 and 07 and 09 or that oregon challenged for a pac-10 title in 05, 07, and 09 and sucked in 06 and 08.

as a tenn football fan you wouldn't think you'd argue that a team can't blow out cal at home and then lose to them on the road the next season.

Pretty sure tiger was being sarcastic. BOP was just being ignorant as usual.

Oregon finished in the top 10 and 2nd in the pac 10 in 08. How do you not know this? You seem to know their history so well. What the hell do the tennessee and cal games from 06 and 07 have to do with this? These are complete different football teams. Cal is about to go from the 4th best program in the pac10 to the 7th or 8th best. They are dead.

oregon finished in a TIE for 2nd place and only went into the top 10 because they beat a very overrated oklahoma state team. they were one more pac-10 loss away from playing in the emerald bowl. they were never in the race for the title. and horrible cal beat them by double digits btw.

the point is that past seasons performances mean nothing and home field advantage means far more.

So Oregon, without their best QB/any remotely proven QB, will have their best season in school history...That's what you're telling me.

You're saying they'll pull a UT circa 1998.

Calm down droski, calm down.....just being a smart-*** on here.....

Geez, I thought the Cal folks were supposed to be laid back...:dance2:

The finished with the same record and oregon state while beating them. Therefore they finished 2nd. They finished in the top 10 regardless. You might have a point if they didnt beat cal 42-3.42-3 let that sink in.42-3 Didnt cal score first too?

and cal beat them easily in 08 when apparently they had a better team than cal has ever had.

No, you dont seem to understand that everything doesnt have to relate to something that happened previously. But are you admitting that tennessee had its best season ever in 98?

If Oregon sucked that yr. Cal has never been good. you do understand that there is alot of area between sucking and being good right?

whatever

do you deny they sucked in 02, 04, and 06? do you think it's a coincidence that those years they played a harder road schedule?

teams lose to good teams on the road. hell, in the case of oregon (and cal btw), they even lose to mediocre and bad teams on the road. teams tend to do better when they play the best teams at home. is this really so complicated?

For him, sadly, yes it is.

I was putting it into terms you'd understand. 1938 will always be better than 1998. But you saying that team will go undefeated, after being a BCS bowl team the year before, losing, then losing your Heisman-caliber QB, is equatable to UT's 1998 team.

The difference, however, is that this won't be happening.

Real quick

Cal all time record: 624–476–51 (.564)

Oregon all time record: 552–467–47 (.540)

Stfu about oregon and cal now thanks.
