They are easily better on BOTH sides of the ball. And by the time they face USC they will be clicking on all cylinders.
Were they clicking on all cylinders when they got shut down by OSU? I'm sure they had plenty of time to get that option attack working.
Oh, and newsflash, no Jeremiah Masoli easily accounts for at least 1 loss
USC and OSU are two different. If you want to draw a conclusion form last yr maybe you should draw it from the Oregon, usc game. Not an unrelated game.
If oregon gets by us, there is a good chance they go undefeated.
So they are vastly superior to a USC team which is loaded with 4 and 5 star talent, but it's a question mark as to whether they can get by a UT team with a new QB, a new tailback, an entirely new offensive line, two unproven d tackles, and an unproven coaching staff. Great logic there bud.Because they struggle early. An early test is what will trip them up if at all. They are vastly superior to USC.

so your suggestion is that road games against USC (a team they haven't been within 2 tds on the road against in this decade), Cal (undefeated against oregon at home in this decade), and OSU are easier than a road game against a team that last year lost to pac-10 team at home that finished 7th in the conference.
