3 weeks and no Aguilar reports.

We didn’t hear anything about Hendon Hooker either and he was absolutely awful in that Orange and White game appearance he first had. I did t think he would ever see the field and he turned out pretty dang good.

Hoping the same thing happens here, would be hysterical.
Yes. I remember watching O&W game and thinking he would be clearly behind Bailey and Milton .. Bailey was my pick at the moment based on his ratings and spring game performance .. lol

Ridiculous to expect to hear from him. Brent Hubbs said smartest plan is to lay low. He hasn't won the QB1 yet. Last thing is for him be in the media before earning his teammates respect, coaches confidence.

Just think it’s odd that after being in Knoxville for three weeks, there have been no reports about what the new QB thinks about things or what his new coaches and teammates think about him.
Why do you think you should be told about what's going on in the athletic department when it's not even football season?

You know Nico is at UCLA now?
That's where Aguilar just came from.

Rumor is coaches asked Aguilar to stay because he was the only QB they trusted and adding Nico was going to create real competition.

The coaches said he (Aguilar) was the fastest QB they ever seen even more than Hundley

That is pretty high praise. Hundley was a Beast at UCLA.

So you think they are employees, pro football players, eh?

Guess what, even pros have off season. Get out of here with the "we're paying him....."

The Chiefs are paying Mahomes but they don't own him.
If he wants the starting job he’s doing what he’s gotta do to own it.

There is no off time if you want to be the best.

Nobody forces anyone to do anything but these guys have the potential to make $ that nobody else makes.$

If he’s the guy he knows that and he’s putting in the time. NCAA don’t make the Champions but the offseason prob does

I don't doubt he's putting in work but there's limits on his ceiling by all reports.

Will he turn out to be a sleeper like Hendon Hooker? I've no idea but most, not all but most, guys who had very limited recruiting from high school and only limited success in the SunBelt Conference are unlikely sleepers against SEC competition.

Certainly I wish him the best but I'm not one to polish things while wearing orange tinted glasses. We'll be extremely lucky if he turns out to be another Hooker.

Given the circumstances of Nico leaving, whatever success we can get from Aguilar, Merk, or G-Mac having to step in is great.

Aguilar is having a great summer camp and has emerged as the top dog. WR room is reported to have said that they don’t even have to open their eyes for the ball to land in their hands. Even the OL is running drills with blindfolds, as QB plays 3D chess when everyone else is playing football. Dobbs4heis…, I mean, Ag4H!

The reports we read aren’t worth a damn. We won’t know anything until Football time

Yep. I’ll take all of the “reports” with a grain of salt until I see who walks into the huddle for the first snap of the first game. And it might not be 100% decided even then.
