Her 2022-23 Glenville team had 12 different girls with double digit minutes, and girl 13 had 8.5mpg. So probably 'no' to three full rotations, [though I'd be happy if she'd do it just for the 1st half, at least] but yes to deep roster usage. I'd probably be wise, for players outside your top 8, to sub in girls only if the upcoming possession is on the side of the ball (offense or defense) that they're strong in. They still have to play both sides obviously, but if you are strategic about when you sub them in and out, you can have them play 5 or so extra possessions per game on their good side than their bad side, perhaps?

For last year's team, looking at the analytics, that would have involved prioritizing subbing in Boyd and Darby to maximize their offensive possessions, and subbing in Puckett and Favor to maximize their defensive possessions, as all 4 of those players had notable splits in their offensive analytics vs defense analytics.

[This especially applies to Puckett; Tennessee in SEC play evidently averaged 85.1 per 100 on offense with her on the court, contrasted with us having 6 players who were over 100 per 100, and in NCAA Tournament play averaged merely 76.5 per 100 with Puckett on offense... really needed to play Favor and Strickland more, Puckett less]

Once we got the business of the season, CKC had 7 to 8 players who took the lion share of minutes with 3 or 4 rotating in for less than 10. It may trend that way again next season but the core group might expand to 10 instead of 8.

I agree. But we need less breaks in play by refs. They hurt us on several occasions. Not just the fouls called, but just the overall stoppage of play.

There were times when I felt they called a foul just to give themselves a break lol

Laila Phelia that played for Michigan is a fantastic player. Went to Texas got injured sat out season. So what kind of player is she now would be the question? Sitting out sometimes hurts a players game.

Ashton Judd supposedly not committing until sometime in May so she is a wait and see. If we go for Phelia that would seem to make up Judd's mind for her as our roster would be full.

If were getting the Phelia that was at Michigan two seasons ago I much prefer her.

I used to like Kim Mulkey, but now when I see her or hear her all I see and hear is a mean old harpy. And the way she puts her face so close to players' faces they are nearly touching, makes me cringe. That right there would be enough for me to want to steer clear of her. Well, that and her notorious grudge-holding spirit. Nope.

I hope they don't get Serah Williams as well...that's too scary ...although I think their freshman class with those highly profiled guards is going to put them over the top...having said that, our LadyVols, LSU, Texas, and SC, are going to battle next season ⚔🗡

I thought it was so hilarious when ESPN posted on Facebook that Fulwiley was transferring to LSU and everybody was shocked, and I’m sitting here thinking, I thought everybody knew almost a week ago, and it dawned on me how much we keep up with this stuff and the average person doesn’t.

Fulwiley in the backcourt at LSU is no different than Janiah Barker in the frontcourt at Tennessee.
Barker has two seasons of production that is close to what Fulwiley accomplished at SC.
Barker at UCLA played on a winning team last season for the first time in her college career which seemed to really help her mature as a player.
I can’t speak on Williams but I do know ESPN portal rankings have her ranked #8 and Barker #7.
If anyone thinks LSU freshman class puts them over the top then Tennessee freshman class puts them over the top.
Will come down to what team executes best that day when the teams meet.
