My apologies, but what was your point again? I see yours and K.L.U. (less's) posts and I glaze over.
I said we play a similar pressing style as Ohio State but they don’t do mass substitutions, they let the players stay out there longer and play. It’s not that serious mentioning a fact, people can just scroll past it if they don’t like it.

I'm getting tired of losing players to Ohio State. Hopefully, we can snag Judd.

Well we did beat them so idc lol. Does always seem like we’re competing with them for players. I’d rather have Judd than Todd if forced to choose.

Todd only became a good shooter last season, doesn’t always last. And she doesn’t do anything else. Doesn’t rebound or pass well. Judd has a much more complete game and is still an effective shooter.

it's interesting we're going after a lot of the same players as them...i guess they will have minutes and shots opening up without cotie

personally i'd rather play for CKC than kevin mcguff who i think is overrated (ive watched the big10 for years)

McGuff has always looked like an alcoholic to me. He looked like he got sober this season. Speculation but he looked awful for a couple years. He was always super bloated and had terrible bags under his eyes all the time. Looks like he put the bottle down and he looks 10 years younger.

Always seemed like an a** to me. Not someone I’d want to play for.

Right. Although I strongly believe Nya will not be the only portal signee. The staff is taking a methodical approach to the portal because of the limited scholarships you have to get the most out of every portal transfer. I also think if some of the fans that are aggravated by the process took a step back they would see that it’s not just Tennessee being selective. Yes, players will visit. Yes, some will not come to Tennessee.
I don’t doubt that if they really wanted Todd or any of the other players that fit the system they would get them.
This has more to do with what we already have on the roster. All these players on the roster can play.

If Nya is Lady Vols only addition " so be it". Plenty coming back and a terrific recruiting class coming in.

Iyana Moore and Debrasha Powe are both worth a look. Two players who can get hot. A lot like Darby but both are quicker than she was.

Powe is around 40% from three the last two seasons. Just needs more looks.
Iyana Moore was the main reason Vandy did what they did to us this year. She didn't look great against all teams, but had our number. Powe on the other hand is money from. 3 if she is able to get open looks and they way we space the floor would be beneficial for her.

How many times has Tennessee played Vanderbilt when Iyana Moore was on the roster? you would think Vanderbilt and Tennessee never played before as much as you hear about these two games My goodness lol.

The LVs will swarm them to death, like a swarming mass of mosquitoes taking down an elephant!!!
We kind of heard this last summer that the bigs on other teams would be no match because they were too slow and mid season that conversation switched to, "if we are going to be competitive in the SEC, we have to get some legitimate bigs." People were talking that Texas bigs and Reagan Beers was too slow to compete at this pace. We sure showed them didn't we.

At least two this year and it didn't go well either time. Iyana was the difference maker in both.

You ain’t comprehending the question. That player been at Vandy for years. If she stayed there for this upcoming season she would be taking another L on Rocky Top.
I guess you have to celebrate any little win you get when it’s slim pickings.

You have some vocabulary.
I simply don't won't to look up words I likely will not see again in my life.

We simply did not have enough mosquitoes!!! With a bigger swarm....

{PS, I don't actually believe that. If CKC does not sign a pair of solid post players, they will have real problems competing at the highest level]

That is because they were disasters and I think I am correct in saying we have never been beaten twice in a season by Vandy!!

We still played too slow against both of those schools. Texas especially, we controlled the pace better the first time we played but should have been way faster and worn out their bigs better.

Oddly enough it wasn’t the bigs from either of the teams you mentioned that really hurt us. It was mostly their guards largely because our guards were so worried about helping in the paint.

Worried about helping in the paint to . . . neutralize their bigs, right?

Okay that has nothing to do with anything being discussed. Maybe meant something to you to say it.
