I was responding directly to your comment inferring the Vandy losses were no big deal. Your attempts to deflect direct challenges to your posts are so transparent.Okay that has nothing to do with anything being discussed. Maybe meant something to you to say it.
Actually, I was pretty serious.View attachment 735537
Depth piece I’m sure.
We’re hardly in a position to be looking down our noses.
FJ s not leaving LSU. That whole Twitter thing was a publicity stunt for some concert appearances she’s making. It seems LSU almost requires an extremely high rebounds average from all of their bigs. interstingly, I wonder how solid they will be compared to a recent teams if an post on X from Flaujae yesterday could be interpreted that she is leaving. I don't subscribe to X nor was able to copy link but if they lose her, Morris, and Smith along with some others, they should be less of a contender even with good Freshmen class.
Nina Davis, a Tennessee native, was a beast at Baylor. She would have been a great Lady Vol.Kim gonna make her a player, she has a motor. If I were an undersized big I would find it hard not to go with Mulkey. Proven track record of taking those players to next level over and over.
Nina Davis was the first undersized post I remember her having and she was incredible. Been a theme with Mulkey since then, really knows how to develop a player like that.
That's because they had to help in the paint because we didn't have the size to defend them. Had the guards played out, the ball would have found its way to the paint and then we were a definitely a done deal with our opponents getting high percentage paint points from the 6-5 and above club. Taylor Jones ate us for lunch at their place btw. We had no one who could match her in the paint. We still played too slow against both of those schools. Texas especially, we controlled the pace better the first time we played but should have been way faster and worn out their bigs better.
Oddly enough it wasn’t the bigs from either of the teams you mentioned that really hurt us. It was mostly their guards largely because our guards were so worried about helping in the paint.
Still half of the top 20 on the board. Guess some of them are asking for big money that no one is willing to pay as of yet. From my understanding were supposed to have our portal class completed by May 1st as Coach Kim is taking several weeks off, but would need to be back June 16th for the inccoming freshmen. Haven't heard but totally expecting we will get some visitors in this weekend. Softball and baseball in town.
Everyone ranks players differently by a lot. WER has Fulwiley number one even over Latson. He has Nya number 10 and she is in the mentions for Creme. Saw another one where Nya was top 20 so two out of three.Charlie Crème threw us a bone in the also considered…

Women's college basketball transfer rankings: Fulwiley one of seven new players in top 25
South Carolina-bound Ta'Niya Latson tops the transfer rankings, but MiLaysia Fulwiley and Janiah Barker break into the top 10.www.espn.com
Agree I also think Okot is a top 20 player. How can he rank Marta Suarez over her? I really think the team that gets Fulwiley is getting the best at least top five player in the portal. A coach that turns her loose is going to profit. We have already seen this happen with Rivers and Cooper. Fulwilley is going to have a big season for someone next year.I'm not going to mention names, but Nya Robertson is a better player than some on that main list.
