Yeah I wanted Kneep. Beyond that all I care about is 3 pt consistentcy. Of course I want someone who excels all around, but I’d rather have the reliable shooter than the player who gives more speed etc if that’s the trade off. We have so many others that bring speed and D.

The issue last season was our shooters (Spear, Darby) struggled to get open due to lack of foot speed & our system. So I wonder what’s the use of having a not-so-fast great shooter if our system doesn’t allow them to get shots?

They did attempt the 5th and 15th most 3’s in the SEC while only playing 24 and 15 minutes. The % were similar to the rest of their career as well and improved over the season before.

That’s why I watch games because numbers don’t tell the full story. Darby would get open corner looks but many of Spear’s shots were contested. She would be covered and they would leave players like Spearman, Boyd and Latham open.

Agree with this if you look back some would light it up vs teams that did not guard the 3 well and then they would have some games where they just maybe scored FTs and basically disappeared. This is what a lot talked about you shoot 60% one game from 3 then a tougher D team you shoot 15% or less which hurts not able to depend on a consistent O going forward.

Coach Yo may be able to get some good players, but she does nothing with them, going all the way back to Shakira Austin. She still has a bunch of empty trophy cases.

No matter how much talent she gets, it still won't help her coach. She's a terrible in game coach. All she does is scream and yell at the players and refs. Sound strategy.
