2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I’m not doing that lol.

Indiana scored 38 vs Alabama.
Tennessee scored 20 against them.

Again AFTER UGA. We just stopped with the scripted play calling for the most part.

If we’re going to be vanilla and fast like Heupel likes then we need to be a lot more physical on both sides of the ball. Period.
We scored 41 against Mississippi State, same as Georgia. Ole Miss scored 38 and A&M scored 31.
We scored 27 against Oklahoma. Alabama scored 21(regular season), Texas scored 23, Missouri scored 6, Michigan scored 13.
Yes, we scored 20 against Alabama. Georgia scored 21 at home, Vandy scored 14.
We scored 56 against Kentucky. Vandy scored 45, Ole Miss scored 30, Georgia scored 35, Texas scored 16.
Since you are saying after the Georgia game, I didn't include comparisons for them. I know you are focused on top 25 teams, but we stacked up pretty well against similar opponents.

FWIW…AP said on Josh & Swain yesterday that he sees us only taking 1 linebacker

The rest of the guys added defensively will be lineman & secondary guys
That makes zero sense. We have about 25 openings even if they self pentalize. If we are only signing 15 or so players we are not having depth we need again.

That's surprising. I thought with Carter's loss they would want a few. Maybe they are high on what they have and have recruited?

We'll just have to trust Knowles' eval on any defensive players from Penn St.
whats crazy is they had all that turmoil this yr along with injuries and still had a top 30-35 defense

here we are in the 100s and just complete garbage playing 12 yards off the WR with the DL the size of an FCS team.

Agreed. But in a discussion about the number 1 (or whatever it is) offense, the recalculation is only useful once all teams have been re-ranked. At least to me.
Here is a scoring average comparison for Tennessee and the P4 playoff teams vs likely final Top 25( I included Illinois and Washington as I assume they will be ranked in the final AP poll):
Tennessee-28 ppg
Indiana-25 ppg
Ohio State-16 ppg
Georgia-32.2 ppg(25.3 if Ga Tech finishes ranked)
Texas Tech-26.4 ppg
Oregon-25.8 ppg
Ole Miss-36 ppg
Texas A&M-20.3 ppg
Oklahoma-20.6 ppg
Alabama-19.8 ppg
Miami-20.3 ppg

Well Perlotte and Spillman are both going to be superstars and Telander could possibly be serviceable in certain situations so maybe we only need one.

Thank you.

The offensive production remains strong compared to this group.
