2025/26 Transfer Portal Thread

I implore you guys to name one season where 80% of our transfer players didn't immediately contribute and elevate our team. Please. Go ahead. And we have twice as many transfers this year as the others. How we have this conversation every year is so annoying.
They never learn.

I don’t give a damn if he’s a nfl back, when he performs better in college than these “nfl” backs. Averaging 6 yards a carry isn’t to shabby for a returning junior
Yeah let’s have nfl back discussions in nfl thread where nobody really gives a flip.

Nobody knows how good or not he is at this point. He could step right in and kill it or not be ready.

It’s a big risk starting him with zero experience versus a proven guy in the portal. Obviously hope it works out well.
Sensible statement

Obviously such things will not be tolerated

No soup for you

So how is GMac supposed to get this “experience” if he’s not going to play b/c we brought in a one-year starter?

Im fine with bringing in a QB that that doesn’t expect to start, but I don’t understand why so many are opposed to starting the QB we’ve recruited and has been in this system for two years.

The staff knows what they got. And they seem content to roll with him. There’s no point in recruiting HS QBs if you have no intent to ever give them a shot. Feels like they were good with Leavitt (possibly best QB in college, if healthy) or Gmac.
