With the announcement of the Tulane kid and the confirmation of gmac as QB1

@SmyrnaATLVolisback and @TrippieRedd will be forming the:
Stupid Portal Adds Don't Excite - (SPADE) collective

they're taking donations now.

Love the portal hauls. Tulane kid is a waste just being honest. Love everything else especially when Scott jumps in

Its negligence if you dont fill up every spot. I know they arent going to be SEC caliber players but you should be getting FCS seniors looking for a grad degree.
Call me crazy, but I think the guys who have stayed should be rewarded for their hard work and loyalty with playing time. Y'all act like we have no quality talent coming back.

If it's GMac, then the OLine better be the best in the SEC if they are going to protect him and get him through half the season without being snapped in half... Will need to be blowing open holes for Bishop since we'll be run heavy... Wait, who do we have starting/2 deep at Oline now that Heard and Satterfield are gone? Did Seaton already sign?

How does LSU have the money to pay Kelly, pay Kiffy, and buy half the portal? That cannot be sustainable... A bit surprised how well Auburn is doing with all the buyout money they've been spending lately...

I’m gonna guess we don’t have more DTs we’re involved with cause the DTs in the portal aren’t as good as our young guys.

Feel like they got too cute trying to hold off good players waiting on better players and ended up missing all of them. Just like at QB.
I’d take one if the Oregon guys.

Might be tracking a Miami or Indiana DT.

If the staff really is comfortable with riding with GMac, then I wish we could have taken some of that Leavitt money to beef up the offense just a bit more. It’s not a necessity, but as much as I love Bishop it would make his life and GMac’s life easier if we got a true game breaker at RB to split reps. Or Horton from Alabama as another receiving option with experience knowing that Keys may not be ready immediately to contribute since true freshman WRs don’t typically produce much in this offense.

Again, not a necessity, we’re pretty deep on offense. But anything to give GMac the best chance possible to succeed…
Yeah if we want a shot at 9 or 10 wins, we will need a defense and run game like we had in 24. Not sure we will have either of those yet. Defense will be brand new. And Bishop is solid but he aint Sampson.

They have already been rewarded.
So we've seen everything we're going to get out of Marion Dye, Isaiah Campbell, Ethan Utley so we should just move on and overpay an unknown commodity to take their place? Y'all know that DT and 3 techs are the hardest positions in football to contribute as a freshman right?
