SC, UCLA, USC, Notre Dame

I think the post game for UConn is suspect until proven otherwise. Will be a big question if they can stay healthy as that has been really tough for them the last decade or so.

What’s crazy is they are going to have to identify what we have for their system then basically blindly go in the portal…

We may have the wackiest of Wacky rosters next year

We still have what 10 players? Plus Edie?

I quickly counted eleven, including Edie. Could be super wacky, which is why I am hoping we can either hire someone players are falling over themselves to play for or who is bringing folks who fit in their system.

Wonder what DWs take is? I’m sure it’s part of the hiring process but still.

Our roster was probably going to be wacky to begin with; however, bringing in a new coach with no existing contacts or recruits will make it VERY wacky

Yeah, wacky roster eventually was an inevitability. I have to imagine DW realizes the risk of hiring a relative unknown given our roster and has some sort of contingency, whether it’s keeping Sam or hiring some home run assistant that would be a draw for recruits. And this is all assuming none of our players hit the portal…

If the coach knows talent most of the roster won’t be here, maybe keep 4-5 players at most and fill the rest through the portal. Now if the Coach is bringing players that will be better.

Yeah, I have to wonder how many current players will stay for Caldwell. We had a lot of spots to fill before, and we don’t know how many will after. Maybe she can bring all those Marshall players with her.

Why is everyone just talking like this lady is the new coach lol? This is getting weird.

There has been NOTHING to factually link her to the job.

Among other things that inflated all this were the satirical Twitter post and then a WV journalists saying she was in KNOXVILLE interviewing. When the only actual fact we know is we are interviewing in ATLANTA lol.

Let’s cool it with building next season with her as the coach for a hot second maybe? I’m bored too but that’s a dark fantasy I’m not even willing to entertain at the moment.

I apologize. 😅 We’ve been working each other up in my household because *some people* insist that I have to give everyone a chance even tho no reliable sources have suggested I have to do so.

There are still some good uncommitted players in the portal, so hope springs eternal!
