If they hire Payne and Vonleh comes with we are set in the post. She is a very skilled player, has some nice range on her shot too. Extremely strong presence in the paint.

I agree, I think Wynn has more upside with her speed and ability to get to the rim. Like I mentioned earlier, Sherr just doesn’t seem to move as freely out there anymore, seems hampered by some sort of injury.

We really don't know if all those Colorado players are getting in the portal to follow her somewhere or to get away from her. Either way whoever is coach needs to try for Vonleh if she is still available.

I think most (if not all?) of those players in the portal saw very little playing time this year. I think maybe one of them got into the Sweet 16 game I saw in Albany. On the other hand, you have Frida Formann, a starter, who has committed to coming back to Colorado for a 5th year.

None I know of that are left have better players Oklahoma sure doesn't, I doubt any USC player would transfer. Wes Moore coaches better than his talent. Princeton might have a couple of decent players. Ivey not coming. Dawn has all you need and then some. Jeff Walz not that much anymore. These seems to be the ones then we get to the mid majors. Who does Marshall have? Who does Grand Canyon have? Who else is on the list? This is about all that is left. Brenda Frese nothing on that roster anymore. Indiana coach has one or two that might help.

Neil Ivey, Cori Close and Lindsey Gottlieb would be good but who knows if we get any of them, after that I would go for coaches that have elite recruits coming in that can come with them. If we don’t get either I know we will not win anytime soon, and that goes for Wes Moore or or any of the other mid major coaches people seem to like on here. The. Poaching hire will let me know if we will win soon, nobody wants to sit around for another 5 years while the coach tries to build.

I'd say none of them are leaving. I'm beginning Wes Moore or Jeff Walz may get the job. Were not getting anyone to Monday it looks like that puts Moore still as an option. He has said in the past would retire at NC St but 2 million a year for five six years might change anyones mind. Walz will come for two million for six years. The deal coaches would be Oklahoma and Colorado coaches. The mid major girls would take less than Kellie was making cause it would still be three times what they are making now.

Maybe Waltz if I had to pick between the two, but only because he has some good players and 2 top 25 recruits coming in, if a few of our players transfer out a full the rest of the roster with good portal players we can compete next year. Oh and I don’t want any mid major coaches, they won’t be bringing us championships anytime soon.

Yes because it looks to be a big name where contracts take a long time to negotiate and resolve. I am not a fan of his but I am a fan of Tennessee. I would say we have to know something by at least next Wednesday or were losing the portal this year.

I’m sure I’ll end up eating these words later, but the lack of movement out of Tennessee makes me think the players were buying whatever White was selling when he spoke with them after relieving their coach.

I know many of them LOVE Kellie but they’re also a competitive bunch who LOVE Tennessee as much or more and want to win. Maybe they know more than we do…
