"The 2021 USA U16 National Team, comprised of athletes who are 16 and under, includes: Kamorea “KK” Arnold (Germantown H.S./Germantown, Wis.); Madison Booker (Germantown H.S./Ridgeland, Miss.); Jaloni Cambridge (Ensworth H.S./Nashville, Tenn.); Breya Cunningham (La Jolla Country Day School/Chula Vista, Calif.); Jadyn Donovan (Sidwell Friends School/Upper Marlboro, Md.); Kendall Dudley (Sidwell Friends School, D.C./Manassas Park, Va.); Margaret Mendelson (Fremont H.S./North Ogden, Utah); Olivia Olson (Benilde-St. Margaret's/New Hope, Minn.); Grace Slaughter (Grain Valley H.S./Grain Valley, Mo.); Delaney Thomas (St. John's College H.S./Charles Town, W.Va.); Judea "JuJu" Watkins (Windward School/Los Angeles, Calif.); and Jada Williams (Blue Springs H.S./Blue Springs, Mo.)."

The 1st 3, Arnold, Booker, and Cambridge, have all reported TN offers. So has Jadyn Donovan.

Coach Sam and Kellie both follow Olivia Olsen on Twitter.

6’0” point guard and rated above Jaloni Cambridge ? Both made the USA under 16 team ….. 🤔

I haven’t heard anything about her but now a offer ! Sounds like when Justine gave a verbal before anyone heard of her ?

Might want to look at guard Chloe Spreen, a Gym Rats teammate of Ashlynn Shade.

Currently rated #21 by Hoopgurlz and one of 34 invited to USA U16 tryouts. Already has offers from Vandy, Michigan, and Ohio State.

She also has, as of August 2020, offers from Indiana, Purdue, Butler, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan State, and Oklahoma.

Surprisingly, given that Jeff Walz seems to offer every player in the top 200, she isn't reported to have an offer from Louisville.

Saw this picture on madi social media. Looks like she was at IOWA STATE. Possibly on a visit??

Saw where 2024 Madi Hawk did take an unofficial visit to Iowa state 🤔 how about a visit to TN lol

A large part of recruiting well is creating a public buzz.

The people we replaced did not seem to understand that. Kids and fans need to see you and talk about you to generate interest.

It is all marketing and salesmanship which is why when people were saying Kellie can't make people come here they were missing the point entirely. Her job is to make us look like a desirable location. It also helps if we are objectively desirable, but that is less important than creating the perception and buzz.

I think that’s why she made the moves that she made and it seems to be doing the job. Kellie also had to get rid of the Holly stigma and now that recruits see others on campus other coaches can’t use that against her in their recruiting tactics
