2015 NBA Playoff Thread

Detroit did it without one. Of course, Sheed probably could've been if he wanted to.

That's one in the past 50 years, it's a cute idea but you need a stud to get you buckets when the team is struggling. The Pistons would demolish this Hawks team. Ben Wallace was close to a superstar. IMO Though not in the traditional sense.

What about all those times when the superstar scorer struggles tho? Most playoff teams have superstars so of course most championship teams will have them.

It's kind of a dumb conversation cause nobody can even agree on what a superstar is. 88 and 89 Pistons had a superstar named Rodman. Ben Wallace was 2004. If the Hawks won a championship we'd be far more inclined to call someone on their team a superstar.

Everybody but you and MJ thinks Zeke was a superstar

Ain't nobody calling a Hawks player a superstar if they win a title, they will be thought of just like the Pistons. Name one guy that universally started being looked at like a superstar because he won a title. You can say what you want but titles are generally won by teams with a top 5 player, not 5 top 100 players.

I think most people agree on who is or isn't a superstar. Except me cause I think its tossed around to much, and you cause your hatred for scorers.

He was when he was young but he was overrated in the champ runs. He played well but that team was all about defense, rebounding, and balanced scoring. If he didn't win 2 titled he'd be Steph Marbury.

Not even close. Marbury was always just a marketing campaign that never panned out. He got traded around like a ***** in prison, benched and cut.

If Steph Marbury had been on the right team and won 2 titled nobody would think this. They would think he was IT
