Auburn may have outrecruited Clemson on paper, but that's where it stops. I can't believe you put so much stock in recruiting rankings over what you see on the field.
Clemson returns almost all of their offense PLUS gains Mike Williams back. Do you think they just forgot how to score points in bunches? Call it being a prisoner of the past or any other ridiculous idiom you want to throw out there, but I just fail to see how it's unrealistic, if not a near certainty, that CU's offense won't be at leasr as good or better this year.
On the flip side, Auburn lost their top 2 WRs, top 2 RBs, and has an unsettled QB situation. They already weren't a great offensive team, so it's difficult to project they'll be better than they were a year ago.
I just don't understand how you think Auburn will be better and Clemson will be worse without having seen either team play if you aren't going to at least use last season as a guideline. Otherwise, you're just blindly guessing based on recruiting rankings and some unprovable formula for underachieving teams striking with a vengeance the following season.
