That Hubbs statement sounds like an excuse for wrong information he gave his subscribers while also protecting his 2nd employer, UTAD. I never expect impartiality from him.

I don't get wanting "his moment" after already being committed to a school. His first commitment seemed genuine how he did it. Appears he got caught up in his own hype...hope he got what he wanted.

You know this bothered me a lot more yesterday than it should and maybe alcohol was partly to blame.

I don't agree with how it all went down but its all rumors at this point on what the UT staff knew or what the family was saying other than trying to keep it a surprise.Plus this is recruiting and I don't know how many times I saw it posted here that he was clowning Dabo but turns out Butch was the one who got clowned.

I don't blame him one bit if his dream is to play in the NFL. Butchs offense at UT up to this point is a death trap for WRs and the numbers back it up. Sure, if you're good you can get noticed anywhere. But why not go where they have proven to put up huge numbers and have been doing a much better job getting WRs into the league recently?

I was thinking about that earlier where it was getting a big laugh on here that Tee was playing Dabo and just screwing with Clemson.

When it was said on here Higgins was SOLID in his UT commitment per insiders and then like 2hrs later he decommitted should have pointed to what was actually coming.

Yea, and he admitted he jumped the gun. He came back right after that and said it was actually Clemson, he just thought it was Tennessee because Tee named them his leader. Turtle was spot on. Clemson, someone wearing purple, b/r video, released on 4th of July. All of those he named. That's not trolling lol

Dude is classless. He lies to his entire state and a coaching staff who treated him like family... all for a SECOND commitment video. What goes around comes around.

I don't see this as over unless our passing games blows again. We have the sexier orange. Although I will admit I like their purple jerseys. Clemson is just good, simple, I would prefer Knoxville over their campus. But you can't say much when you are in national title hunt for last couple years and have a badass QB. Of course he could be gone, but Clemson is simply trending. It hurts but it could have been worse. Gone to UGA, Bama, Gators.

Much rather him in the ACC than in the SEC for sure. Clemson is definitely trending and it will take us being in the playoff picture this year for us to be first and foremost in the minds of these kids.

He's not saying Butch is the only one who does it. But does others doing it mean it's less "untruthful"? I'm not a fan of dropping commits late, but I don't get in a big fuss about it either. We have absolutely no idea what Tee did or didn't say nor who he said it to. Hubbs and Co felt we were in a good position and then we didn't get him, that's all we know.

Those "close to his recruitment" mean absolutely nothing. That's the problem with this crap; too many people getting in 17 yr old kids' business. He and his family have zero obligation to say anything to anyone, who thinks they're in the inner circle. So who cares if they "lied" to someone outside their family.
