'15 TN DE Kyle Phillips (UT commit 1/3/15)

Take all 5 and be done with it. Cut the guys not producing at all and make whatever movers you've got to make.

I don't think there are enough guys at DE that aren't producing to make that happen. Lewis has played well as a reserve this year. Doubt they want to cut Miller, Hendrix, or Henderson loose. Vereen and Barnett aren't going anywhere.

That would leave you with 11 DEs. Doesn't make sense.

I'm fine with taking ugo especially if that kid grom Texas is looking around. The only reasons are number one it would help with Phillips. Two we are in on a lot of great defensive backs for the 2016 class so I say turn up the heat on both Phillips and ugo, lock them up then focus on flipping Richmond and call it a day. I think if anyone can do it its butch b!!!!

Well, we know that Walker could play OLB and we know that Hnedrix could grown in a DT. I also personally believe that Butcher would be a terrifying NT. He will definitely get huge. Dylan Jackson could end up on OLine. There are many options. CBJ wants to opportunity to get his best 4 on the field, regardless of position. It'll be alright!:)

I do not see Hendrix being moved to DT. In fact i see some discussion that as good as Derek Barnett has been this season, that Dewayne Hendrix will be better when all is said and done.

As far as Kyle Phillips is concerned, i would not turn him down, but i do not think we are a consideration. I think our focus is on D'Andre Walker, he is higher rated on our board because of speed.

Would love to see him pull the trigger. D'Andre Walker is also talented but would be great to land another strongside guy in this class.

SDE - Barnett, Hendrix, Phillips, Jackson
WDE - Vereen, Henderson, Butcher, Taylor, Ford
DT - Kahlil, Tuttle, Owen Williams, Sawyers, Picou, Mosley(?)

(I realize the DTs are irrelevant in this discussion, but I like seeing that list lol)

Then you ought to add OBrien to your list if you really like our DT's

Yep. Butch is not just recruiting these guys as DEs. He's recruiting athleticism, speed, and football players. Some of these guys will be used at other positions.

Hopping on the elevator last night at Vol Hall my friends and I happened to share the ride to the 12th floor with a certain coach, a couple recruits, and a set of their friends. Based on the discussions that went on during that ride and subsequent walk down the hallway, I'd feel pretty confident with the outcome of a certain player's decision. The other player is already verbally committed.

It was actually pretty hilarious. The coach had all of us rolling with laughter. We hooked them up with a roll of TP and the coach said, "what other school gives ya sht paper?!" We died. We told him instead of using hats on NSD that he should just pull out a roll of Charmin

I haven't kept up with this thread at all, but based on that short amount of time, we are at least more than "in consideration"

I want to boom my feels but the aforementioned could be so many different possibilities. Be more specific bro we won't sell you out.

The location of the post and the information given should be more than enough to explain who the two teammate players were. The only thing I feel like I could have said more is that the certain coach wasn't a certain head coach. Position coach.

Also, the phrase "these guys are gonna be playing/working (can't recall which word he used) for y'all next year" was said by the coach while walking down the hall.

I looked at the coach and asked him if we already had that in writing lol

Whole bunch of "insiders" up in here today

Definitely not an insider. I actually declined the elevator before me because it was Eric, Evan, Elliot, and their dad. I knew if I hopped on that one I'd piss my pants. Then the coach stuck his hand to keep the door open as it was closing.

Crusse does not try to get ecred. He has been a very conservative and level headed poster from what I have read over the years. Crusse brings this kind of information, my eyes perk up as it is not the norm for Crusse.

Thank you for the info Crusse.
