You want to see amazing? The players in bold are players Jones has brought in since signing Day 2013. They are HIS players. You want to talk about a roster overhaul??? Give the man time folks. He's speeding it up as quickly as he can, but just like basketball with Tyndall, we're looking at a TOTALLY different team, just on a larger scale.

If they both want to come then you take both. I personally like Walker better because he's a great pass rusher, but Phillips can play multiple positions on defense and possibly OT. I think Walker is a WDE, though UGA wants him at OLB. Point is, you take both because both players bring totally different skill sets to the table.

It's a tough question really. They both will play different positions. If Phillips is cut from the same cloth as Barnett, i take Phillips because Barnett has showed an uncanny ability to hold the edge while possessing sufficient strength and speed to beat an OT for a sack.

But on the other hand Walker looks like he has elite pass rushing ability. But so does Taylor and lesser extent, Ford. I still maintain that you stock up on elite pass rushers even if you sacrifice another position. Pass rushing wins ball games especially close ones where you have the lead and the other team is forced to drop back and pass.

My answer: I would trade Walker for Ford and then add Phillips. Done. :)

A just as brutal schedule next year.
No Worley.
Same Offensive line.
Peterman or Dobbs. Neither of which could hit a barn at 10 yards standing in front of it.
Litter of kids that are green as grass, again.
The D better bring it every week they'll need to win us a few games if not most.

Depends on your needs. Walker is a Leo and a disruptive speed rusher that plays with an attitude. Phillips is more of a SDE that can rush the passer and stuff the run, and also gives versatility with his ability to play OL. We already have Butcher at SDE. Taylor is likely a Leo. Ford and Jackson are versatile enough to do both, and Jackson also can play OL. If it's me personally, I like Walker for his ability to get to the QB and he lays the wood. With that being said, I would take either immediately in a first come, first serve fashion

To add to that, if Phillips and Walker both want in, that probably means we'll take both and someone will have a getshirt and have to open their recruitment

If I had to choose one...Phillips...for the sole reason that he may grow into a body that fits an OT and is apparently playing the position well right now in HS. That's the only position that I'm even remotely worried about with recruiting. If we could land a guy like him that could potentially be great on either line, then take him. JMO of course.

I like Phillips and Ford.

Coin flip between Walker and Taylor. Can't see us taking 5 DEs. Don't see us taking, Walker, Ford, and Taylor either. Two of the three.
