If jack Jones said "I love coach Jones. You know? He's white." there would be unholy upheaval throughout college football and ESPN calling him a racist.

Why? If zach gentry flipped to tennessee and said a long list of reasons why, but included butch Jones was white as one of them it would go over like a turd in the punch bowl. This won't even make sec rant or Saturday down souths website, much less espn. It's a racist statement. He doesn't want to play for a white coach, he wants to play for a black coach. Call it what it is. Butch Jones skin color is keeping him from doing something. Isn't that the definition of being discriminated against?

Whose to say they haven't? Coaches can't talk publicly about recruits so recruiting sites only list commits based off a kid's word and what they can secretly verify from the staff.

As far as his tweets go many of our current players/commits have ridiculous nonsensical tweets, thats why they are called teenagers

If this doesn't seal Butch's fate as a legendary recruiter, I don't know what will. Butch has had Cecil convinced this whole time that he's actually black.

A little much to want to end opponents careers. I understand teaching you football playing son to make your opponent feel and fear you but don't teach your son to end people's careers. That will get you in trouble real quick in eyes of teammates, colleagues and NFL scouts.

Any LB with any sense would want to play behind the DL we are going to have the next few years. I think the staff more or less let him go because they have bigger fish on the line.

Alright I'll keep that one in mind because national media would have lost their damn minds if a recruit said he was signing with a school because the coach was white.

This. Plus the big 12 is more spread passing offenses. Cherry strength is gonna be run stopping. If he doesn't want to goto Tn it would be of his best interest to goto a big 10 or another sec school. But instead he is going to goto texas and they will be talking smack about him in 2 years like they're talking about dalton Santos right now. But hey, atleast Charlie strong is black!

What is going on in this part of your post?

It's not our call whether or not skin color plays a role in his decision. Doesn't mean it's not dumb, regardless.
