Hasn't made it in yet I'm hearing he has a ride to UT but not one back

So what your saying OV is rumors seem to be accurate that people may not care much for this kid. They will happily drive him to Knoxville to drop him off, but they intend to leave him.

Imagine the tiredhead factor listening to him all the way home...after being sold on how awesome he is! :boredom:

Do these kids really not have cars of their own or at least cars they could borrow from a parent or relative?

I get that not everyone's family has those kind of resources. I bought my own car at 16 years old for $2500 after busting my butt at crappy summer jobs for a couple years. So I get it, I really do. But he's getting a free college education. A couple hundred bucks to rent a car for the weekend is pretty small potatoes. And it seems like almost everyone I knew had a car at 16...which was only 5 years ago. I imagine its more widespread now.

It seems that way, sure. But this kid will get a free ride to college whether he pays money to come up to TN or not. Plenty of other schools that would have him.

And then you walked 5 miles in the snow while battling monsters and the pending arrival of the Union army.

Relax...
