Considering I never predicted him to be anywhere close to All SEC, I don't really care. However, this thread has gone so far off the rails that I just figured I'd add a post to continue to add to the absurdity that's become par for the course in here.

Oh and you people saying "I'm a vol fan and I would do it too" need a vol card check.

Their game is the same time as the Big Orange game. I would not take free tickets to see the bama game over watching my vols.

Travel 300 miles round trip to see 2 teams play I don't care about or watch Tennessee(my future team) possibly pull the biggest upset of the 2013 college football season. Not a hard decision for me if my heart is Orange.

What has people upset is he less than 24 hrs after saying recruiting is over he tells other it isn't. If he wouldn't have said what he said to all vol sites then there wouldn't be such a backlash. Not saying he is but it makes him look like a liar.

My kids wouldn't be in this situation without owning up to it. Words of definite meaning are valuable and tarnishing that value is not tolerated in this household. If my kid says he'll clean his room after the game and he doesn't, he's in trouble. If he owns up to it as his mistake and shows humility instead of making excuses then the punishment lessens greatly. It may turn into a learning opportunity instead of being grounded, timeout, etc.

I have no clue considering I'm pretty sure that none of the coaches or recruits have ever explicitly said that so I'd have to go with Chavis on this one and say, as far as I can tell, that was something someone speculated about on here and everyone ran with it.

Well Chris Weatherd isn't your kid, and you have no idea what is going on in his personal life. This is one of the most important decisions of his life, and he needs to explore all possible options. The fact that so many of you want to criticize every word that comes out of his mouth shows that some of you need to worry about more important things in life.
