He has played in a Spread offense most of his HS career. This year they played in a pistol type spread O. I watched him play again the other night when his team fell in the 1st round of the region and I just dont see it. He is good but no where near a great RB. He scored twice from 3 and ten yards out and only had 76 yards on 19 carries. He did not run with any intensity and I have seen this everytime he has played against a good team. Kid has good size and all but not the breakaway speed that you might think. I have seen him run down by a few kids that are no where near SEC speed. He isnt even in the top 5 RBs in the Region. I am sure I will get blasted as always but so be it.
I am from the area and have seen him play up close many times and he is not as good as advertised. He plays in the weakest AAA district in Virginia. His pass protection is weak and when facing a good opponent he shys away from the big hit. I hope he goes to OSU with Grant.

I have no agenda. I was just stating an opinion and you guys continue to pit a person down because they disagree with your assessment of an kid.
Q: How does the coaching change at Tennessee affect them in your eyes?
A: It doesn't. I'm not picking a school on a coaching staff.
Q: If they pick a coach that you like and get along with would that elevate Tennessee for you?
A: No, I'm picking a school on early playing time and academics and the school's atmosphere.
Ole Miss isn't exactly "rigorous" academically, but Auburn has a solid academic track record. It seems as if it's an Auburn-Tennessee battle with all of the specific interests that he mentioned. My main fear is Auburns other commits recruiting Green to the plains.
