'13 VA RB Derrick Green (Michigan commit)

I fear if he weights it toward academics, the University of Michigan wins at #29. The ones you cited are ranked AU#89, UT#101, Ole Miss#151.

That's overall ranking. More importantly, it depends on what he wants to major in. I think UT is around #5 in Nuclear Engineering. I believe our law school is way up there as well.

No disrespect, UT is a fine school. Had a nephew graduate from UT law school.

He doesn't claim us though.

Without some separate knowledge, one would think he was born in LA, the Lower Alabama kind, got buggered at his first Lenard Skynard concert in Muscle Shoals, spent 8 years camping out in Tuscaloosa to get through UA, and had a paper route before he became a radio personality in Bammerham.

None taken. It's just that every school has certain programs that exceed most others. If I wanted to be a DVM, AU would be at the top of my list.

I am a DVM, and AU would not be at the top of my list. Auburn used to put out some of the best cattle vets IMO; however, those are few and far between, and that was 15-20 years ago. I am an equine veterinarian and live very close to Auburn...refer my surgical cases, etc (if I have to send them there). I will say that the only reason I send cases there is because they are the closest...the equine vets there just don't impress me, especially with their lameness work.

I am a DVM and Auburn would definitely not be at the top of my list. UT, UGA, UF, TAM all have better programs IMO.

Ha! Just said the same thing. TV, where did you go to school and when did you graduate? Small animal practitioner?

His definition of academics and yours are different, I think. He's probably referring to the academic support, not which school is a higher ranked research Institute. I doubt any player cares about research rankings of schools or Vandy would have a top 10 class every year.

I agree. I was responding to an earlier post about various schools academic standing.

I'm not a DVM and you hit 3 out of 4 in the Top 25. AU is respectable at #15 and unfortunately UT is nowhere to be found.

UT is also one of the top 5 schools in the country for Supply Chain Management.

Graham needs to be retained just based on him being a Vol who took a lateral move to come back home. The rest is icing on the cake.

Not to mention he has done an unbelievable job coaching up our RB's this year. A must keep from this staff.

I don't know what the criteria was for this ranking. I have employed new graduates of UT, AU, Penn, OSU, UGA and Miss State. Most all received good educations. None better prepared for life in private practice than the UT and UGA grads though.

You obviously know better than I do about VM.

If Gruden really has converted to the spread, would that be as attractive to DG as a pro style offense?
