I've thought the same of Jones since seeing his junior film from back in the spring.

He seems to have all the skills that an SEC RB needs, while in Henry's junior film he showed me that he is extremely athletic and can beat everyone to the edge.

That being said, I doubt that there is a serious chance we get Jones, and I have high hopes that we can pull Kamara. Obviously, nothing in recruiting is set in stone, but our situation seems to be to hope for DG or AK, with Ford, Kemp, and (someone else I'm forgetting) being the backup plan.

The state is to flat for me, even flatter than where I live now. Plus my run in with an AU family in October on the way home from a UA game was enough to make me think seeing UA on the road each year might serve its purpose.:hi:

Tyren Jones, Rivals 100 running back from Walton High School in Marietta, Ga., does not plan to take other visits.

This kid is good...able to make cuts without losing speed, great vision. Good get for whoever lands him.

Speaking of running backs, Alabama commit Tyren Jones took his official visit to Alabama this weekend and said afterwards he does not plan to take other official visits and is firm. That’s good news for the Tide as aside from being highly talented in-state Georgia has continued to try and push Jones for a visit.

Spoke with a source very close to this and no matter what happens over the next few weeks I am told today, Tyren Jones is "100% solid to Alabama."

I know other schools have tried to get in on him,but he is staying with Alabama even if they get Alvin Kamara I am told.

Rumors swirling that Bama pulled his scholarship and asked for a grey shirt. He also was in a locker room fight recently and had his jaw broken FWIW.

Would take him in a heartbeat. Maybe this is the RB that Fortenberry mentioned UT getting back in it with. Sounds like something Saban would do. We dont even have a RB and ALA Is in position to Greyshirt a top 250 4*.
