How bad would it be on this board if it ended up this way

Jones- bama or UGA
Kamara- bama or UGA
D Henry- bama
D green- auburn or mich
Alex Collins- Miami or Arkansas

If we strike out on all 5 with this "elite" recruiter/rb coach we will see meltdown..

Not really. We are not expected to land any of the 5...our best chance is Green or Kamara, but we are perceived to be 2nd for Green and 3rd for Kamara. If you meltdown, that's your own fault.

Well put. That can't be said enough on this board.

Given how down the program has been, we should recognize how impressive it is that we are even in the running for these guys.

...Now, expectations should be different for subsequent years. I think starting next year, we should expect to be landing more guys like these.

But this staff has had years to make inroads with these elite guys. What? They've been there less than a month? Oh, well then never mind.

What happened to Kailo Moore? Thought he was committed to OM, but rivals is saying he's open.. Doesn't show a UT offer. He's prob headed to miss st, but I think we should atleast offer.

Jones has always been my favorite of the group. After seeing Henry on a bigger stage, he has sold me on playing RB. Alot of Bama fans would rather lose Tenpenny if it came down to losing one.

That's why you hire guys who already have inroads. We as fans can be critical of CBJ if this recruiting class isn't any good because he could have hired coaches who already had relationships with recruits in this area. Jury is out whether or not the long run benefits are worth it, but you don't get a free pass on a recruiting class just because you wanted to bring most of your own guys.

That's assuming the class doesn't pan out though, and we aren't to that point yet.

Isn't this all just speculation at this point ? Any legit sources said anything about jones and UT?

Jay Graham has done a lot of work behind the scenes on Tyren Jones, and that could be a UT/UGA battle leading up to NSD if Kamara does indeed choose Bama.

I guess UA is lucky then that the word is that Kamara is looking to commit on NSD. We should already have Jones NLI signed before Kamara announces. Saban always has a plan.:)
