you've been consistent with this view and i certainly concur
Yes. I do not claim to be an insider or expert, but I know the Lynchburg area and that region. I want KK more than any of the other recruits, but people need to realize how much pressure there is to go to VT. I will be very pleasantly surprised if he picks UT on Wednesday.
I've thought all along that he's enjoying the process, the attention and wants to make his recruitment exciting for everyone. Kids from the Lynchburg area rarely make waves with national media. If he picks VT early in the process, nobody would have ever heard from him.
So what do we think? No news is good or bad news in this case?
I could interpret it both ways.
He doesn't want to come out and say that the visit was good, but he still likes TN because he doesn't want to expose himself to instate pressure since he is leaning to TN still.
Or he knows he is going to VT now and doesn't even need to get out in the public and talk about anything.
I think option one sounds pretty possible!
Good point. Had the parents made it down, do you think we would have had a better shot?
This.
VT was the favorite from day 1. Not saying it's impossible, but people should prepare themselves for this one.
If everyone will just treat this as a nice surprise rather than a sure thing, we don't get disappointed. Just my 2 cents.
I don't think the parents visit would have made a huge impact. Ultimately, it's Korren's decision. He has serious interest in UT. The fact they were going to visit is proof of that. IMO, he was planning on going to VT for a while, and UT came on really strong. But if it's 50-50 or close to it, the home team usually wins out. Just my 2 cents though.
Don't be trying to dampen our hopes after you said we were in a very good position going into the weekend. Don't you do it to us skeet. Don't!
