Isn't this the truth? They were some of the most classless fans of any venue I've ever been to. BTW, they were far better this year. (Probably because they were winning/won) We didn't have a single issue with any of them, besides one douche giving me a smart ass laugh as we were making our exit. I told him that he spent 160 grand on an education that taught him zero class. Kudos.

Ok i know im going to get blasted but let me first say that im not some creepy 40 year old who only has a facebook to stalk recruits. im 21 and an active user of the site. ok im one of the ones who went and painted the rock for korren's parents that never made it in. i recently added him on facebook and he just accepted tonight. two questions

a. is it out of bounds for me to post a pic of the job we did to his wall? just for further info, theres tons of other fans promoting their school of choice on his wall already so its not like i would be the only one.

b. if i did so would that be a recruiting violation of any kind? i need someone who actually knows and not anybody who is speculating.

i just want him to see what we did for his parents and for him to understand how much recruits mean in knoxville.

Any facebook contact by "vol fans" could be considered an NCAA violation. Unlikely to be followed up on, but is always possible. Especially in a dead period like now.

Honestly don't know. I don't have a FB account(shocking I know). I avoid most social media. I'm not really one to know what the boundaries are in those cases.

Do you think that we may pass on Leggett and return to working on Lambert after NSD?? I have no idea how good he is because I have zero idea how good his competition was. I have to think that after the Rutgers coach bailed out there is not a whole lot of reason for him to stay with Rutgers if he received a much better offer to play at Tennessee in the SEC. If he could afford the visit on his own dime, it would seem reasonable for him to at least check us out. Of course that could be the problem -- no funds to pay for the trip.

What is your opinion on this kid?? Are we going to make a run at him??

Not skeeter, but here is what he said about lambert earlier (well I assume it was lambert because I do not know what other linebacker up north we would have made a run for)

They love Otha, sal cant wait to work with him and the other backers. I think we're done at lb, we made a late push with a kid up north, but nothing is happening there.

Skeet, will the staff know before NSD if they will be able to get Leggett admitted or not and past the NCAA clearinghouse? I just don't see us taking a risk and giving up that spot by letting him sign a LOI, and then not being able to get him in.

Here is my take, after his UT visit he told his parents "I am going to Tennessee." So they said, "okay well we just want to go back and check out the academics." Then they could not make the trip and told him, we trust your decision son. All VOL. At least I hope so.
