Why do you feel that way?? In the first place, he is not the "best player in the state". Robinson probably takes that position, but that is a moot point.
The real point is that even if he is the best player in the state, he does not add much to our team. How many very small backs who can only be used a few times a game can we afford to use up scholarships on?? We already have D Young and Kimbrow is a clone of D Young. If Kimbrow is the better of the two, it is only marginal. Do you want to waste a scholarship for that??
I doubt we want him at all, if the truth be known. Yes, we have to say all the right things, but when it comes down to it, we do not need him. I believe he knows that.

Everyone is saying we backed off, but no one is giving a reason. We need spped on the field and that is what both Redmond and Kimbrow bring. What is the reason behind it?
Exactly how I feel as well.
I love Kimbrow's speed but I'd rather have an every down back any day of the week. We'll find another good back to go along with Cross.
If we've stopped recruiting Redmond and Kimbrow
lol:
Yall are not gonna like me at all on VN if this is true
Neal is definitely not a speed back. At least not in Kimbrow's class.
But I do agree that I'd like to see them get 1 of each in every recruiting class as well.
montrell spitting that hot fire...but he is right. young hasnt proven anything to pass up on kimbrow
Thought he was one of the fastest players on the team?
I have to agree with ya on Kimbrow tho. From what Ive read about him he's lighting fast.
yea you have to reload every year..why not have a kickoff return unit with kimbrow and young..and you can rotate them on the offense so you always have that homerun threat on the field..
you can use both
