'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

Taylor has amazing stats against very good competition...what else does he have to do?

Maybe if Taylor and Fulton would lie and say they're interested in Florida that would be enough for Rivals to bump them to 4*...:)

If they took visits to Bama, they would be 5* easily.

yea he said if he made it in he would take his official this weekend and enroll early but didnt visit so im guessing he will not be

"Recruiting continues for a pair of committed prospects at Atlanta’s Westlake High. DB Darius Robinson (Clemson) is being pursued hard by Alabama and Auburn, according to coach Greg Minnis, and Notre Dame and Michigan are coming after LB Mike Taylor (Tennessee). “For the most part, I think they’re pretty firm,” Minnis told Georgia High School Football Daily. “But Mike is waiting to see what happens with Tennessee with all those allegations. But he’s been having real good conversations with the coaches.”

It will be after New Year’s for 5-star Christian Green | AJC College Sports Recruiting

During shedding drills White team LB Michael Taylor is showing his trademark power and explosiveness for a smaller LB (6-0, 193).

from ua practice...

Everytime I see Wade post I usually say Oh Sheot, because it's usually news about a recruit committing somewhere else or a decommit. This was a refreshing post. ;)

In the U.S. Marines Obstacle Course, Tennessee linebacker commit Mike Taylor (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) won with an impressive time of 26.99-seconds, besting future Miami running back Storm Johnson.

Corey Nelson (Dallas/Skyline) and Jordan Hicks (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) finished third and fourth, respectively.

Taylor used a combination of quickness, power, change of direction and straight line speed on an obstacle course that was testing even for the nation's best.

"I've been preparing for this week for a while now," Taylor said. "As soon as our season ended and I found out I was in the game, I started working out pushing bags, working of footwork drills and hitting the weights to come prepared. It was a nice little workout for me. There is a lot of linebacker and running back stuff that goes into it and I'm just happy and feel blessed to be here.

This from the UA Skills Challenge. Airs tonight at 9 ET on ESPN2. Taylor is going to be a beast.

Happy to have him on board....he will definitely be a welcomed addition to our injury riddled LB corp. Impressive that he was able to beat out everybody in the obstacle course drill.

Not that it really matters but IMO he gets his 4th star on Rivals and Scout when the final rankings are released

is taylor solid???? a couple weeks ago he was trying to enroll early???? i seen yesterday they interviewed him and he said his dad wanted him to keep his word or something???? u got anything new sab ...lv..???

That would be the first I've heard about it. Haven't heard about him looking at all. I think he is solid. And calm down with the question marks. Several of those are not even questions!

Could someone with a subscription summarize the new Scout article. It talks about him taking visits. Would be horrible to lose him.

exactly i asked the same thing ...... id like to know if he was planning on taking visits.....u know with him winning that skills other schools may take another look

yea really did u see who he finished ahead of??? they have praised him all week.... thanks come again smarta..

i mean, no one would actually try and recruit him because he's a good football player and his film is sick.
it would be because he won an obstacle course. yea, thats it!

Where would Michael Taylor fit in here? I don't have any insider access, and the ESPN video isn't loading... but at 6' 193 is there any chance he gets moved to SS to fight for Berry's open spot?
