'10 GA OLB Michael Taylor

Mikey. What a surprise. One day you have this guy sit down in front of you and your mom and sell you this bill of goods, telling you how great your life is gonna be at the Univ of Florida. How he's gonna make you the best LB you can be and the best man you can be. It moves your mommy to tears and that excites you to the point that you grit your teeth, stand up and do the "gator chomp"... and shout (like a puppet) "I'm in dad... I mean Coach Meyer". Even though you know ditching the guys you proclaimed were "your only team" who said those very same things to you when nobody else had faith in you makes your gut wrench with guilty conviction. But NO, this is the Univ of Florida which makes it o.k.

BUT THEN... "POOF"

He's gone along with all those promises and all of the sudden you know what a used up bar skank feels like the moment after you did your stuff. Karma is one mean mutha so wipe yourself off, pull up your britches and take your seat on the bench along with all the other *****es.

:loco:

C'mon guys don't flog me for this. Allow me this one rant.

You left out the part where Scurbie saw visions and heard God speak or whatever. That was the stupidest part.

If you've ever been to Gainesville and think it is a more attractive option, I question your sanity and intelligence. Florida football is a novelty item with no tradition and is located exactly where the enema tip would go if they gave the whole state a colonic.

Two things: 1) guys these young guys don't give a rat's zzz bout tradition. I like having tradition, but in the scheme of things today our championship of 1951 per se means nothing. 2) Gainesville is not that hideous of a place y'all make it out to be. Does it have a mountainous backdrop? No. But it has way more greenery than UT ever thought about with the moss covered oaks everywhere. It's a town that owes it's whole existence to UF and that's what makes it such a neat town. Team: UT > UF any day. Campus: UF > UT any day.

I agree that many don't but for those that do how about the fact that Tennessee has been playing football for over 100 years and has 6 National Championships?
Neyland stadium has the 2nd highest winning % in the nation and avgs over 100,000 fans per game. Tennessee has put more players in the NFL than any other team in the SEC. Tennessee has the most college Hall of Famers in the SEC, the 4th highest bowl games nationally, 5th highest bowl wins nationally. Florida in comparison, traditionally or otherwise has got a rough row to hoe. They have done well lately though.

My main point would be that we WANT young men who tradition DOES mean something to. EX-Lil Mikey Taylor, Markieth Ambles are not them.

Strongly disagree here. There is no way in hell UFs campus beats UTs campus. I have had experiences with both and those experiences were quite extensive... though this is half way a funny part of UFs campus, take a look at this RIDICULOUS picture and where the door is located in their baseball park

I find it hard to say based on that alone that UF trumps UT... And i liked UTs better when I was touring the SEC schools so.. pop goes the weasel.

Dude? Global warming. Polar cap melting. Less ice, more water. Flooding. Emergency swamp exit ramp.

Problem solved.

Funny thing about that door is if you fell from it you land on the stairs. Most likely you will leave that accident with an injured ankle, leg or face.

you have to hold onto the handle and swing to the top of the steps..

It was very logical of them to do it that way. Helps with traffic flow.

Parkour (or le parkour) is the physical practice of traversing elements in both urban and rural settings, although it is sometimes seen as a philosopy. The goal is to move from one point to another as quickly and efficiently as possible.
