CUM is getting to him, trying to negative recruit. scroggins says he's concerned about the UT violations.
Actually, you are speculating like we all are and you are pro-UT for him and I am pro-USC. Both of us have our different reasons, of course.
Why are you pro USC?
Not exactly.
Hey, what about that Urban Meyer phone call which could be nothing else but a commitment or to tell them they were out of it??
Scroggins says all schools are still recruiting him and he talks to each at least once a week.
He could have told them thanks but no thanks, and the coaches still call him. Our coaches do it all the time. I don't understand what else he needs to know about Florida or anyone else for that matter.
Eric, coaches contact recruits all the time. As close as you follow recruiting you should know that. Meyer is going to continue to recruit him as will Pete and Lane. They will continue to keep in contact with him up until he makes a decision. He isn't going to tell Florida they are out of it and maintain in the media that all schools are even. He'd just drop Florida.

That call was exactly what I said it was. Just another recruiting call. It was after USC's camp and Urban knew that was important to Jesse. I'm sure he wanted to talk to him about it.
As comfortable as Scroggins has been with the Vols, he does have one concern.
“Just basically all the hoopla that’s going on — all the violations and stuff,” Scroggins said on Monday.
UT has self-reported a handful of secondary violations, none of which is expected to result in any serious action from the NCAA or the SEC.
“I think they’re coming through it,” Scroggins said. “I think they’re going to be pretty good this year.”
Scroggins said he also decided on July 25, in part, because of the television coverage that ESPN will provide. He hopes his commitment will help boost recruiting for whichever school he chooses.
Don't lie to 'em Eric, we disagree all the time. That's what makes our conversations so entertaining.
See we even disagree on disagreeing.
Because all the things that he has mentioned in the past about USC, he can get there. Great competition, home town school, BCS powerhouse, family and friends CLOSE by, NFL factory of offensive players, and other things I can't think of right now. Neither his dad or coach seem to be pointing him to UT right now. Those are two opinions that Jesse favors highly.
"I really don't know what it's going to come down to," Scroggins offered. "I am going to do my pros and cons for all three and then my parent and my coach are taking me to dinner and asking me questions to help me decide what school is the best place for me."
