No, It's University of Florida, University of Southern California, University of Tennessee. You can argue all you want, but that is alphabetical. Not everybody calls Southern Cal "USC", as not everybody calls Tennessee "UT". All I was saying that it is not alphabetical. Argue all you want, but that is the truth. S comes before T. Sing the alphabet song to yourself.
I think his post would be called.....um....sarcasm

He didn't win a state title. They lost the '06 championship game to Brentwood Academy.

BJ showed his true colors in that interview with the Times Free Press. I lost all respect for him at that point.

All I have to say is I can't wait for UTC to go to Bama, where he will get his head knocked off, probably multiple times. It might be the only time in my life that I will root for the Bammers (except for situations that help UT in the SEC race).

I didnt realize this, but JS is the only Rivals top 10 QB not to pick his school yet...

I do think the long he takes to make a decision the better for us however.

To me...what the deciding factor will be, is the fact that his home town school didn't show that they wanted him like they have for other elite prospects. They dragged it out and required that he compete for it...even though he was somewhat injured.

If they had offered him early in the Spring, he'd likely have jumped on it. You know he would have. We got in on him early and stayed on him. He knows we not only want him here, but there is a REAL need for him, unlike the USC predicament.
For this reason, I think his heart if fighting what his mind is telling him. It's kind of like deciding between a girl whom you've always had a crush on, that is already with someone; and a girl that that meets what you're looking for and is crazy about you...and that old crush keeps getting in the way. It's a tear-jerker, I know:cray:
I think Oprah and Dr Phil need to have a visit with the young man :)

The longer this drags out, the better it is for UF and USC, particularly USC. The sooner he makes a decision, the better for us. He's waiting, so that just doesn't bode well for us any way you look at it. Kiffin and Co. need a QB by the middle of this month, and Scroggins knows that. If he chooses before then, it will be us, if not we need to move on and will obviously. I think, and will maintain he goes to USC. I don't think that UT is wanting to wait as long as Scroggins is going to wait either.

This is why I think we are in a good position to really squeeze USC, by offering Rettig right now. Scroggin's knows we need 2, and it's still a much easier path than what he's facing at USC currently.

Maybe Kiffin has told Jesse that if he comes, he'll not bring a 2nd guy in. Otherwise, why wait...you're not going to fool the kid by getting a commitment and then taking a 2nd commit a week later

Maybe the staff only wants to take one class of 2010 QB and 1 JC QB. The only way we don't get Rettig is if Scroggins comes here or UF.

I've been out of town for the holiday, what is the latest on JS, or is it everyone throwing around predictions until the 25th still?

Quarterback Jesse Scroggins talks recruiting - Rivals.com Video.........new video on JS someone with membership care to explain.
Tom Luginbill: California QB prospect Chase Rettig showed that he could be among the best signal-callers in the Class of 2010 with his play at Steve Clarkson's Super Seven Quarterback Academy. - ESPN

Rettig looking better and better...Hope CLK goes ahead and offers him right now. We still would have a decent chance to bring Scroggins, since he knows we need 2 anyway.

I would be happy with having Rettig if James Stone, Matt Milton, and Kyle Prater were to commit to UT. Other then JS I want those three to help out the QB.

I agree...i'd much rather take a chance on missing out on Scroggins than missing out on some of the O line recruits.

That doesn't make any sense at all, Eric.

I don't think UT is wanting or willing to wait that long.

I think they are because if there not willing to wait about 13 days then why even go after scroggins this guy they say can be the number 1 QB by the end of the year we can wait 2 weeks dude rettig is almost a sure thing anyways
