Nothing that wasn't happening the day before, and so on, and so on....It's the yo-yo routine. One day he's supposed to decide within a week. Next day, it's back to the July 25 camp (Elite 11)

Um, not trying to be a di#$ or anything but, Florida, Southern California, Tennessee would be in alphabetical order. Even if you are thinking USC, it would still come before UT. S comes before T no matter what. Don't really know how it would be alphabetical. However, this is the order he visited their camps, so maybe that's it.

Florida, Tennessee, USC
Alphabetical

Been out for awhile...

Anyone want to give an update of what has happened lately with Scroggins?

Nada.

UF USC UT in no particular order. He might be deciding in the next week or two. TONS of speculation but no real meat.

Coleman gave a great press conference, but talent wise he was a Jim Bob Cooter. Sorry Chattanoogans

To compare BJ (the initials alone say it all) to Cooter is an insult to Cooter. While Cooter appears to be little more than an oft drunken pervert, at least he never quit.

BJ left Tennessee after three (3) separate offensive coaching staffs told him what he should have known long ago - that he would have fared better in staying closer to home, where he would have enjoyed playing against far lesser talent. At least he and those 'Noogans who love him could entertain themselves by playing the "what if" game for the rest of their lives.

You know, as in, "What if BJ had tried to make it in Knoxville, against SEC-caliber competition?"

Undoubtedly, we now know the answer to that question:

He would suck, pout, suck, attempt to throw his coaches under the bus, suck, say that he wasn't given a fair shot, suck, leave without warning, and, oh yeah, suck.

Good riddance. Once and for all.

AMEN....funny how Chatts think that BJ was the second coming of Christ

Florida, Tennessee, USC
Alphabetical

No, It's University of Florida, University of Southern California, University of Tennessee. You can argue all you want, but that is alphabetical. Not everybody calls Southern Cal "USC", as not everybody calls Tennessee "UT". All I was saying that it is not alphabetical. Argue all you want, but that is the truth. S comes before T. Sing the alphabet song to yourself.

For all those that believe Scroggins is coming with Bailey IF he comes to UT in August, he's not. The only mention of Scroggins in that June 16th article is mention that he's teamates with Scroggins and that Scroggins knows about the Vols. There is NO mention he will be here.

Will Dion bailey commit to Notre Dame instead? He has a friend that just comitted to notre dame.

Defensive lineman Justin Utupo (Lakewood, Calif.) told ESPN's Greg Biggins he intends to sign with the Irish's Class of 2010. UCLA, Washington, Oregon State and Nebraska were also in the running for his pledge.

"I just committed to Notre Dame," Utupo said. "I've never been there before I've always wanted to go to Notre Dame. That has kind of been my dream school so once they offered, it was really only a matter of time."

"UCLA was right there too and I also liked Washington, Oregon State and Nebraska. Those were the main schools I looked at but Notre Dame just had too many pluses. I called up Coach Polian this morning to commit and he was really excited and that made me feel good. I won't be taking any other visits except to Notre Dame, my commitment is strong and this is a great day for me."

Last fall, he registered 78 tackles, 30 tackles for loss and 10 sacks.

I'm from Chattanooga, and I don't believe that at all. BJ = quitter

I am from Chattanooga as well, and I agree with you. But you have to admit that most people from Chattanooga did give him way too much credit. I mean most people from Chattanooga began to hate Kiffin after BJ left just because everybody thought BJ would be our savior. And who are we kidding? Chattanooga football is terrible. The competition is just not there. I understand he won a state title, but he just was not that great of a QB.

I don't think it will be as much of a meltdown as it will be a relief. Scroggins has us high-jacked. I really want him to be a Vol but I just wish he would make up his mind.

I'm guessing when/if he commits to USC, we'll offer Rettig. If we have to settle for CR, I just hope we get a second QB that is as qualified. We'll need a battle at the position to force someone to emerge.

He didn't win a state title. They lost the '06 championship game to Brentwood Academy.

BJ showed his true colors in that interview with the Times Free Press. I lost all respect for him at that point.

All I have to say is I can't wait for UTC to go to Bama, where he will get his head knocked off, probably multiple times. It might be the only time in my life that I will root for the Bammers (except for situations that help UT in the SEC race).
