'10 CA QB Jesse Scroggins (USC Solid Verbal)

Screw this philosophy of "Low Epectations" Adams and others have. This team has largely suffered from chitty recruiting at this position for the past several years...and it has reared its ugly head a time or two ('05 and '08).
Getting to the SEC Championship and barely losing to the eventual NC, the season before last, shows that this is NOT your typical rebuilding project. There are just a few weak spots to focus on, and we are back in the thick of the SEC race.

Poor us...we so lucky to have someone like Jesse even consider us. What a load of poo!:bad:

We won the East in a year when a mediocre Florida absolutely destroyed us and then lost to two SEC West opponents we didn't play. Big freaking deal. We weren't that great in 2007 and the banged up LSU squad we faced wasn't anything like the team OSU faced.

What's even more sad is that it wasn't the first time this decade that we lost the SECCG to an LSU team that had multiple key injuries, especially at QB.

Yes, as in the next 2 days at that oregon camp.

Yes, it is believed from his coach that he will be announcing at the Oregon camp, which is tomorrow or Thursday.

I didn't hear the interview, but I'm still optimistic scroggins will be a vol. We are in till the end, and its not over yet. It may just go until signing day! A good season will turn a lot of heads in our recruitment process. We are half way there now, we have the staff. Now all the staff has to do is, prove they can coach players up, & win games. If the staff proves they can coach & win, the rest will take care of itself. I still thinks scroggins wants to be the man & will realize his opportunity at UT, & in the end is going to be too much to pass up.

Nope it's tomorrow and Thursday. The 25th was the original play but something changed and he bumped it up.

If they can breath some life into Crompton and Stephens' game, then THAT will say a lot about this staff's ability to coach up their players. Might even help Reaves make a name for himself.

So, the "Insiders" (Hubbs, JB, etc) are saying it's now moved up?...based on what; a rumor or did they actually hear Jesse's coach say so himself?

I don't remember a quote from either one of them saying that he was for sure moving his commitment up. I could be wrong though.

Your right! Imo, that would speak volumes about this staffs ability & desire to succeed, & coach players up.
I think that will prove UT is for REAL again, & recruits will start jumping aboard the LANE EXPRESS.
