Sweat wasn't dropped for camping at Florida. He was dropped because he lied to our coaches about what he was doing. Kids camp in lots of places without issue.... but lying to the coach isn't a good way to keep your spot

yes, they knew TJ surgery was a possibility, but far from a given as evidenced by them wheeling him out for a Gulf Coast League start after resting his arm. its still a different scenario from Sheffield who is definitely having the surgery.

giolito's situation was different than Sheffield. Giolito didnt have Tommy John surgery until after the draft. When he was drafted, scouts only thought he had just a slight strain and that surgery wasnt needed.
