What coach was that? Last 4 that got fired were 5-7, 5-7, 4-8, and 3-7 in their final seasons.

I'm certainly not ready to offer him a contract extension yet, but I see more genuine reason for optimism than I expected to at this point.

Really now? Quick, somebody tell Pruitt to turn his rings in. Better tell Kirby, Jimbo, Muschamp, et. al. that theirs from their coordinator days don't count either. Guess they'll have to rely on good looks and charm to make it as head coaches.
