    Reality Check

Coach Jones had nothing to do with this program while Kelly was here. The only connection was Jones taking the job at Central Michigan after Kelly left and then taking the job in Cincinnati after he went to ND. They both run the spread but Jones runs a spread option with more emphasis on running...

Hope we dont get Pead on

Pead is the most talented player on the team. Collaros is an excellent college QB but Pead has an NFL future.

    If we beat Cincinnati..

I said thus the LAST name. Vols fans, is this guy serious?

Bearcat fans blame officiating on potential loss: (merged)

Frankly UC showed flashes in the Oklahoma game but it may not have been their best played game... they had several turnovers which were preventable. Offensively the best game they played was Rutgers, where they scored 69 points. Overall I'm not sure which game I would choose, because they simply...

    If we beat Cincinnati..

No. He's the back up QB. He's from New Orleans, thus the last name. We basically have two back up QB's as Jordan Luallen, a transfer from Georgia Tech is also right there and UC has a "Wildcat" type package they will run with him that presents a run/pass option.

    If we beat Cincinnati..

Hahahaha You read three preseason mags? Alright there Colin Cowherd. I won't disagree with you that UC's offense is ahead of their defense but you honestly believe just because UT plays in the SEC they will beat UC? I'm not arguing the SEC is the best conference in College Football-...

    If we beat Cincinnati..

-I'm not ready to say the DE's are a vast improvement over last year. Walter Stewart should help the pass rush but it's tough to tell, as you said, against an over matched Austin Peay offensive unit. Overall the increased depth across the defense- and especially on the defensive line- should...

    Cincinnati's Leading Rusher

In all seriousness he is legit though... definitely an NFL player. Isaiah Pead - Remember his name - YouTube 2:15 mark shows off his physicality during the Oklahoma game last year.

    Over/Under Cincinnati Fans Show Up?

I'm a fan. Definitely one of the better fight songs in the country, imo. Now if we were talking about OSU's... or Hail to the Victors at Michigan... or ND's... then I'd be sick after about half a chorus. :stop:

Bearcat fans blame officiating on potential loss: (merged)

No worries- Soloman Tentman, one of our LB's, made a comment today that they were watching UT tape and they don't want to just win, they want to demoralize. Now I don't in any manner expect a UC blowout. If the 'Cats find a way to win it will be in a close game; But as a fan you've got to love...

    ESPN and TN

I find it disappointing that there hasn't been from what I've seen, a single mention of the UT/UC game on ESPN2 this Saturday thus far on the ESPN Networks... I expect an exciting, high scoring game- it's tough that the game got the 3:30 slot though. Going directly up against the Alabama Vs...

Bearcat fans blame officiating on potential loss: (merged)

A lot of people that cover the UC program believe Coach Kelly built successful teams for the short haul with little thought to program infrastructure over a longer period of time. Because his main goal was ND all along. He turned down some jobs along the way (believe he was at least considered...

If we beat cincy do you think we will be ranked?

I think the winner of this game will get a small 'atta boy boost from the media but nothing overly significant. Clearly, UC has more to gain from this game (going into SEC country against a traditional power) than UT does.
