If we beat cincy do you think we will be ranked?

There is a chance we could be 23-25, really depends on who loses. Since we were already receiving votes, there is a chance. Would take atleast 6-8 teams that are 20th or lower though to lose IMO.

No, we do not deserve to be ranked unless we beat Florida in the mushy mushy swamp. Hopefully Florida will hold up their end of the bargin and win their week 2 contest against the medical students from UAB.

Whether we deserve to be in the top 25 or not is irrelevant. Both ND and Georgia don't deserve or didn't deserve (if they both stay) to be in the top 25, yet they are there. No one asked if we deserved to be there.. just if it could happen - which it could but it's a long shot.

Nahh, we'll probably recieve votes, but it won't be untill we beat FL that we'll be ranked.

We obviously have a different definition of deserve. I certainly do not equate my reference of deserve anywhere in the neighborhood of the broken ranking system that has infected college football.

Removing the word deserve, we are a top 25 team if we come out of the swamp 3-0. I don't care if we are ranked on paper or not.

NO way. Only way we break the top 25 is beating Ben Hill Griffin stadium. I think we can beat the Team, but overcoming the atmosphere is a different matter entirely.

According to Dooley, Cincy are offensive gods and if we beat them we should be raised to the heavens like Hercules. So its plausible.

We were receiving votes going into the season a few ranked teams lost a few may lose this weekend it is certainly possible to be ranked. what I don't get are the ppl thinking we wont be if we beat florida I mean they are ranked UT is just outside the rankings by then a couple more ranked teams will have lost I mean we will def be ranked if we beat UF.

Let's be honest... since our downfall in the last year of the fulmer, the media lost what little love and respect they have for us. Being ranked again will atleast get our name back out there. We used to be the measuring stick on a teams schedule... we're somewhat over looked now

I think the winner of this game will get a small 'atta boy boost from the media but nothing overly significant. Clearly, UC has more to gain from this game (going into SEC country against a traditional power) than UT does.

No. Nor do I think we would have proven at that point we deserve to be rank. If we beat somebody along thelines of UF, UG, UA, LSU, then we can talk about being ranked. Until then, it just foolish and wishful thinking.
