Oh gosh, SO sorry to hear! :( Having lived here my whole life, I haven't had the need to check into extended stays... but if you find 1 and wanna mention it's location, I'm sure we could advise about safety.

Yes. Except it's officially just The Back Door Tavern now. The brothers parted ways. One took the liquor store west a block, and the other has the bar. Same good people and laid back atmosphere, but with more beer on tap and a few nice tvs now. I'd definitely make a stop there! :toast:

I recently discovered Side Street Tavern, which reminds me a little of the Spot. Rooster's is good IMO, despite what some have said.

I'm starting to agree somewhat that maybe the student section should wrap around to the sidline for one big section. But putting students in the 1st 3 rows is unreasonable, unless you have no respect for the elderly fans who are unable to stand the entire game (or get up and down repeatedly)...

By the way... this is all because for the most part, we're competing for an SEC Champ, or good bowl year in and year out. Think that'd be possible without the loyal donors?

May have been low "real attendance" during those years, but they were still making their donations and purchasing the tickets, whether they attended the game or not. Fine. Try having sucessful athletics on student tuition alone. Ask Vandy how it worked for them just collecting their stipen...

I didn't pay attention to the coin toss, but I would think if LSU won the toss and chose to defer, that means 'to the 2nd half'. Obviously, if they chose to receive the ball in the 2nd half, they would be kicking it away in the 1st; meaning... Ohio STATE should have been choosing endzones, not...

Will they be closing the street on campus where the bars are for the block party type thing they've done in the past? That's always a good time on Friday night! :rock2:

Does anyone have prior experience on how long this drive usually takes on gameday? I know the game being at 11 freakin' 30 in the morning won't help at all! :angry: GO BIG ORANGE!!!
