AndyMizunogolfer,My gut feeling has been Lindsey, Enos, or Drinkwitz. I think if it were Freeze or promoting Friend that it would have already been announced.
Could Freeze be waiting to see if any head coaching jobs might open up?
However, stay 2-3 years at TN and do well? He will have big shot offers within the SEC. Think about it this way, what head coach is likely to be gone in the SEC in the next 2-3 seasons? Chad Morris likely, LSU could be an opening (I think Coach O is a season by season judgement), South Carolina...
I think Pruitt is right, not enough talent to compete and not enough players trying to do things the right way. SC knew to run the ball in the first half. In second half TN would be tired and not make the stops.
Not having enough linemen in the system was a major problem the last several years. Need to have enough linemen to develop to cover for injuries, early graduation, and players leaving.
The S&C coach can still have contact with the players during the dead periods, when other coaches can't. There are times of the year he is in charge of the whole program.
