If Chaney runs the offense he had at Purdue, then it is far from "pro-style". Lots of four wide and empty sets just without the qb runs that we are used to from other spread teams.
Living in north Louisiana and watching Tech play several times in the past few years, they were very average on offense to say the least. I think that Dooley is smart enough to go and get a quality OC and let him do his job. If the Brewer rumors are true, that is a step in the right direction.
Chizik did the smart thing and brought in Malzahn, Ted Roof and Trooper Taylor. If Dooley can bring in this kind of staff then he can have some early success like Chizik.
Anyone on this board can be the recruiting coordinator at LSU? You have at least 20 SEC caliber players in state every year that will jump at the chance to be a Tiger
A mid-level WAC coach who had an awful offense this year. Anyone wondered why his own alma mater, UVA, didn't give him a second look? I know some of his former players that hated playing for him.

Tennessee would be lucky to get Malzahn. He's going to get an SEC job eventually and be a pain to play agianst if we don't hire him.
