Absolutely none. The Slive excuse is just that an excuse from the Pearl haters in hopes no other SEC snatches him up and he starts whipping us on a regular basis.

I'm telling you if Stallings is let go, which very well could happen they will make a push for Pearl.

They hired Franklin.

And yes I do hope he lands a good job, I've met a spoke with him on several occasions, like him and wish him the best. He screwed up it cost him his job and any chance of ever coaching at UT again. We also could have fought for him, we didn't.

The NCAA will not scrutinize a school that hires him any more than they do any other school. They can't, the precedent was set with the Miami and ex Miami coach rulings.

Correct, some just don't understand this, or don't want to accept it.

And people think the officiating was rough before, hire Pearl back and well never be on the good end of a call.

There's a huge difference between hoping he lands a good job, and almost spazzing typing about him coming in and whipping us.

If he gets another job, more power to him, and if we play him, I hope we beat the dog snot out of him.

They do what they want, when they want, how they want. Regardless of anything that has happened in the past.

I would hope we beat the dog shiznets out of any team he coaches. But for you or anyone to say Slive will keep him out of the SEC is asinine.

I didn't say he would. I said no SEC school is going to go after him, and certainly not Vanderbilt of all places.

Doug Dickey hired Wade Houston and kept him for FIVE YEARS! Five freakin years. He also hired Kevin "No offense" O'Neil, passed on BILL SELF, and hired Jerry "I love K-mart" Green and Buzz "MJ is my friend" Peterson.

I hope to all that's good and holy that Hart is nothing like Doug Dickey when it comes to handling basketball.

Dickey's basketball hires sucked. We know that. Believe me, no one suffered more than me. I was at UT during the Houston and O'Neil eras. I'm just saying that Dickey wouldn't have let Slive and the NCAA bully the crap out of UT like Hammy did.
