But I'm stupid for expecting something better than what we have. And I'm not saying we should be world beaters. It just sucks to be so bad, lost on offense and defense, that the other team blantently laughs in your face like they did last night.

Heck - our coach can't even figure out when to call a time or not.

I have said many times that we should go to the zone part of the time. If you have a weak defensive team the zone helps hide the weakness. When players are off on their shot then the coach should be controlling them instead of jerking the hot players (Miller). I think he is lost and it spills over to the players looking lost.

Tennessee's best player will have to be the freshman that hasn't suited up yet. I have never seen him play yet will deduce that he will likely be our best player.

There is truth in all of this. The talent left by Bruce Pearl on this team is very, very limited. He missed on many of these guys.

The freshman class brought in by Martin is also very limited. When you shoot 20% from the field and you are a point guard who has made some baskets on fast breaks - that is not up to SEC standards. He tries hard and plays good defense but that is about it. So a very, very weak recruiting class. Don't brag on the others because they aren't SEC caliber either.

Good recruit in Stokes - two more like him and you can probably compete. He really needs to recruit a 2 or a 3 that can shoot because that will be an immediate area of need.

Floor coaching and adjustments there on -- does not appear sound.
Don't criticize people who make those comments - watch good floor coaches. Constantly adjusting and coaching based on changing conditions on the court. Not seeing it. In addition to improving their recruiting this staff is going to have to do a better job coaching during the game.

It is going to be tough because we are likely facing a 7 game losing streak. Stokes will have to have a huge impact to salvage this season imo. What game does he first appear in?

Martin didn't really have much of a chance with the freshman class. I'm very impressed about him being able to pull Stokes.

RPI doesn't just figure in the teams you play. It also figures in your winning percentage and the the SOS and winning percentages of the opponents of your opponents.
If you look at our schedule, you think, pretty tuff. And it is for the talent we've got.
But if you look at the teams we lost to and their schedules you can see why the RPI is 273.
I don't really see but 2 games we lost, that we should have won. I'm not sure about COC. They're pretty good.
We're not playing cream puffs and it gets worse.

Martin didn't have a chance in recruiting because we hired a second rate coach from a third rate school.

Calipari didn't have a problem recruiting his first class to UK in the wake of the disaster Gillespie left him.

When will Martin be accountable to winning or at least being competitive? He has all the excuses lined up this year. Will everyone expect more next season? Or will that be a "rebuilding" year too.

If Martin had a quarter of Dixon's resume he'd get a pass too.

We came into this season not knowing what Martin would bring. Through half the schedule it's been tough to watch.

Some are calling him out for having a poor product. Others are content to defend him.

The first class he'll have a real shot at is the class of 2013. You can thank Pearl and the NCAA investigation he bought in for that.

First, what disaster at UK?

Second, No. Cal didn't have a problem recruiting to UK his first year, he simply brought the Memphis class with him.
