Arnett to transfer?

Do you know that they have? All we know is 1. Arnett loved Baggett 2. Arnett's dad was sick when he came here 3. Arnett and his dad didn't have much of a relationship 4. Arnett's close friends have been going to MSU.

Hmmm, wonder why he really wants to transfer?
why leave out the part about arnett and his dad becoming close?

Not sure about this, but isn't this "policy" on a case by case basis.

I don't think it has been interpreted with great latitude. I believe Dooley has been quite lawyerly about contract enforcement and the legalities that go along with it. We do have a PR problem, however, since we have not been very effective in diffusing situations that have bonfired out of control.

Then why didn't he stay at home with him when he was sick to begin with? Not like Dooley promised Arnett that he would cure his dad.

It isn't your, mine, dooley's, or anyone else's decision on why and what his relationship is with his father. You have no clue, he could have renewed this relationship recently and even if it isn't, that's not for anyone but him to judge IMO.

It's very vague so we had a reason to not give Bryce Brown his release.

to me i'd need a reason to grant a transfer, not deny one. What was Bryce's reason again? Honestly don't remember. I know his dad wanted him closer to home, but he wasn't ill.

Let the kid go. This coach is a joke. I cannot wait to sit and watch him crash and burn in the next season or two.

Iowa has their policy. This is the University of Tennessee and this is our policy.

Can't remember, but I am pretty sure UT has released players unconditionally before "da lawyer" came into town. Has the university changed its policy since Dooley has taken over, or is this a Dooley policy?

Considering Hart's reign as AD at FSU and assistant at Bama, I would say it would be his policy as well.

i'm still looking for our policy other than the one quoted earlier that said we don't release players to schools we compete or recruit against.

IDK where our policy is or exactly what it is. I'm just saying from a PR standpoint this is how you diffuse a situation. UT is a $100 million business and this is a business decision, based on our longstanding policy. Dooley has made a decision, we have officially commented on it and the issue is now closed. You do not let a disgruntled teenager manipulate your business for personal gain, using an emotional pawn that he finds convenient or expeditious.

No right answer in a situation like this. No reason to bash or praise. It is what it is.

this isn't fact. no one knows 100% why he wants to transfer.

youre talking a difference of 12 miles

So pretty much he loves his father but not enough to go to Central Michigan. Why does he have a problem with Central Michigan? In his little twitter videos he sure did like to put on their gear.
