Please... tell me your are not comparing Manning's mental game to Ainge. About the only thing Ainge can be compared to Manning with is arm strength and his lack of mobility. What is between their ears is what separates Manning from Ainge.

Ainge won't be as good as Manning, but to say right now that Ainge has absolutely no future in the NFL is ludicrous.

If Charlie Whitetrash from Clemson can get drafted, then Ainge definitely will.

who do you consider a better QB casey clausen or lorenzen. it will come down to the combine, in my opinion he has no chance.

Lorenzon was the master of refusing to take a sack in order to throw an interception. The UK fans I know where pretty happy to see him graduate.

Getting drafted and having a future in the NFL are apples and oranges.

he'll never see the field on sunday except maybe from the stands or the bench.

that may be, it's yet to be proven, he's got a ways to go before we worry about that. but to honestly say that he's not a good qb and cost us the outback bowl or that crompton should come in over him is ludicrous. Crack kills champy. just a warning

So you concede he could hold a clipboard and be the practice squad QB?

:eek:k:

HA! I want my cigar!

:whistling:

he could, he may end up like that guy holding fulmers clipboard, but i don't think he gets drafted till the second day at best.

If you call holding a clip board on the sideline "having a future in the NFL", then you are a crazy. Maurice Clarrett had a future in the NFL, if that is the case.

Not many QBs get drafted. If Ainge is drafted, it will mean that he has been impressive while at UT. There is absolutely no reason to write off Ainge. He has carried the 2006 Vols at times.

How many second day quarterbacks are in the NFL....the right NFL team and system...boom, three years he would be a starter in Arizona or Oakland!
