I had a different preference, but this was the fantasy choice. He will need time before his starters are instinctive within the scheme, but the Cutcliffe connection resonates with a similar mindset. FUNDAMENTALS like proper tackling technique and angles will be 180 improved by the time real football is played.

Reading on his scheme a little bit. Adoption may not be as long as it has for other teams. Knowles runs something similar to what we run already. Difference in use of LB (Leo to jack, maybe?). Shouldn't be that hard of a transition.

Single down year. lol. 5 years here. 1 good year. Thanks to talent. He’s operating at 20%. Those metrics get you fired at most jobs.

Listen, I think I’m known as a negavol, but I can’t believe people are down on this hire. You kidding me? Asking for people like muschamp. Jesus. This guy has fielded natty winning defenses.

He just had a “down” year and fielded the 34th defense with a program falling down around him. You realize that with the 34th defense we’re prob in the playoffs right now?

We beat UGA, Oklahoma, and Vandy with the 34th ranked defense IMO
