Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Jackson Arnold is a five star we might could get on the cheap. I mean if stars matter, that is.
There out there everywhere. That's why I like to see it actually in games. Hopefully one of the two young pups is able to process under live fire. We simply won't know until they actually play next season.

I think if Nico would have stayed he would have been much better. Nico will play in the League some day and Joey won't. Joey greatly benefited from being on a more talented team and coach who knew how to use him.
But Joey produced where Nico couldn't in that scenario. In one off-season, a matter of a few months, Joey had better grasp, understanding and was able to execute better than a player who spent more than two full years in the same system under the same coach.

So you’re confidently saying they had no issues on the OL and WR? If you plug our OL and our WR in at UCLA you don’t see him winning more games with them?..UCLA was depleted can’t entirely put that on Nico…he knew he was leaving a better situation and going straight into a dumpster fire. I truly believe it was because of Haz and he felt like staying in this system would kill his draft stock more than the ladder would with how it all unfolded..his PR team should be fired no doubt.
Do you have anything to support Haz calling plays last year? An article, interview or is this just a gut feeling or belief you have?

Oklahoma this year is a lot like us last year. They will probably suffer the same fate in the playoff.

Depends who they get matched up against. Vols got a buzz saw. OSU ripped Oregon to shreds after us.

OU can hang with a lot of the teams. Believe the Vols could have hung with a lot of other teams in the playoff last season.

If this dude was a troll from another fan base and not just some dude who knew better than anyone else in the country how good the Florida job is, it would have been way more epic. Alas. SS is Scott Stricklin.

Anyone get a feeling that maybe all this stuff that's coming out now about Lane Kiffin now that he is leaving Ole Miss was exactly what he was running from? But it's a brand new leaf, y'all. He's changed. LSU is going to be different.
Not arguing. Just looking at it logically.

$13M, Governor making deals, best job in Amurca.

A single man, who craves attention. Hooking up with Co-eds, consensually. Creepy, but nothing illegal.

Even if he did impregnate a woman, and she got an abortion. Even if he did get her a job.

Would it change anything? What's he running from?

Not calling you out specifically, but it's crazy how his board goes from "why isn't Joey getting Heisman talk?" to "I hope joey goes somewhere else."

Joey staying is the best possible outcome for us, but I agree he's not a 2+ mil qb.

QB salaries are what they are. Joey gives us the best chance at a title next year, without question.

George > Gaspipe

*I believe in McIntyre and think he'll be good enough to start next season. I also think the offense will be more productive this coming season too
More productive than the top 6 unit we were this year?

I'm sorry, but people need to give JA credit where it is due. Only 2022 Hooker orchestrated a better offensive unit in the last 30ish years.

Something schools need to consider when they are quick to fire coaches is that legitimate coaches with success at major programs will not make the jump to them. LSU has one last chance here. If Lane doesn’t work out, they will join what Florida has become. If Florida doesn’t hit it this time they will fall to Auburn.

Auburn needs to get lucky like we did. Honestly, Penn State is the most stable job out there currently. I would laugh if Sumrall went to Ole Miss.
Auburn nailed it. They got Heupel 2.0.
